Hey guys,
I tried to do this competition a long time ago on SDuke524 but then that account got perma-banned and I lost all of the competition stuff.
As some of yall may know, Sumo Bots is a common robot competition where robots are built to try and push each other out of a sumo ring. The robots are only allowed to be controlled by vehicle seats and they can only identify targets by using raycasting. No parts are allowed to be saved in the scripts however points where raycasts hit can. The rest of the rules can be found here:

I hope that yall decide to enter. Please give any comments, ideas or suggestions.

No, the bots must be automated. Which isn't hard, all you have to do us change the Throttle and Steer properties of the VehicleSeat.
On deadlines I am hoping to have it by April 10th however if there isn't enough entries I could extend it.

A neural network AI would be cool.
Should I fix up your old Sumobots place, or is that an old version? So far I've got rounds to work, but before I possibly waste more time I want to be sure that it isn't an old version. |

This means you could have changing decal displays, a flashing light based on what state your robot is in, etc."
@RA2 As long as all of the parts are connected together.

Alright, we can't do: "local enemyBot = x"
Once we find the bot with raycasting, can we loop through its parts and call methods such as :IsA on them? |

@Echo As long as you do not save them so that you can know exactly where they are and you do not edit/effect anything inside their bot. Like the rules on the link I gave said:

Ignore my previous question -- I found your old sumo bots place and found out.
I'm just now realizing how strict the weight limits are. I added one wedge spanning the length of the default ROBLOX deca chassis and I'm already at 200. |

Tips:
- Low centre of mass - Set wheels to Friction of 2, and all parts to Elasticity of 0 - Never use high MaxSpeed or your bot will fall off the ring if it misses, and it'll glitch up a lot - You don't need to make your bot spin around until it finds a target and then Throttle=1 straight at it...you can raycast all around your bot and when you find something, then track the target
