| No matter how badly my mom treats me, I still try to make her happy and be nice and respectful. But I always end up getting shot down and treated like garbage. I just can't bring myself to not care. I hate it. |

"I just can't bring myself to not care". Why not? I've already done so with most aspects of my life, and it makes life great.
BTW, a state of not caring CAN be accomplished, but it takes effort and time.

Well continue to be nice to people. I remember when I started off not caring I was extremely cruel. But I realized the cruelty is not necessary for not caring. Just teach yourself that you don't care and don't let it bother you. Like I said, its a process.
Keep in mind that your mom probably wasn't born that way and she is the way she is for a reason. I'm not justifying whatever she does, but don't be so quick to hate her. Hold out hope for the future, but in the meantime just keep your mind in a different place.
I know you're older than me but I went through some VERY, VERY bad things for a few years in my life, so I could help you out here because I'm experienced with awful situations.

So you're using Old Testament quotes that were intended for the Jews of Jerusalem before Jesus even though Jesus changed everything.
