steam has a policy that you must put all dlc for a game on steam
ea disagrees
ea keeps games off of steam |

EA doesn't want to loose 30% off of every game sold
EA makes origin, to get more money ofc
everyone hates EA.
EA is the google + of video games. |

I like EA.
It is good, you should get it on 360 if you have one. |

@Overrwatcher2
Not sure if that was a serious or cynical comment.
But yeah that's not true, because you can still find several games integrated with GFWL (Games for Windows Live) that keep the DLC off the steam store and instead put it inside the GFWL game service.
For example I played Dirt 3 a few months ago and was kind of annoyed to find if you wanted any of the DLC you needed to do it through a Microsoft Live account and pay the ridiculous amounts they charged. You were looking at about £10 for about 4 vehicles.
I hear they are scrapping GFWL support soon though, everybody just generally hated it. |

@blob That sounds more micro transaction then DLC
"I hear they are scrapping GFWL support soon though, everybody just generally hated it." I think they already killed it. |

Uh, never.
Because EA doesn't like Steam. Because they don't want to spend money to make money.(Steam gets some of the money off of Titanfall if Titanfall ever went on Steam)
They just want to make money.

@valk
Why would you 1, get the inferior version
2, get the console version
3, pay $60 for a multiplayer only game, with lacking content
4, support EA?
NO hooves is NO good. |

Titanfall on 360 is £30.
I suggest a way to play.
I don't care for the graphics. It's about the gameplay.

| EA uses Origin which also provides the Battlefield franchise. EA didn't want to buy rights to publish on Steam so they made their own online downloading service |
