Do you need to keep any of them for future purposes? I'm currently on my first playthrough, overweight(just picked up a new set of ebony armor from killing Bolvyn Venim in the Arena in Vivec), and I want to clean out my inventory. For example, I have books such as "The Stranger" and "The Real Nerevar" and "For my Gods and Emperor".
I'm currently becoming the Redoran Hortator, by the way. |

| You could always find a house and store the books there. simply killing a townsfolk and stealing their house works in Morrowind. |

@Mage That would be useful... If I wasnt 40 pounds overweight. I dropped all of the books and junk on his corpse and used a divine intervention scroll and now I'm 40 pounds overweight in the middle of Ebonheart. |

Dump it on the ground. Brutally murder an innocent person and steal their house. Store a bunch of heavy items in the house. Go back for your books. Put the books in the house and put your heavy equipment back on.
'Tis basic problem solving skills. |
