Standard Member Expectations All members of Gladius Infantry are required to follow these guidelines, you will be demoted or possibly exiled depending on your offense severity. Dress Code When on duty members are required to wear their uniform, you are representing the group. This will improve the quality of our soldiers, and community in tandem Follow Orders Follow orders in a timely manner. Do as Officers say; the faster you act and the further you participate, the easier their job is, and the better the end result is. Not following orders may risk your reputation within the group. Respect Respect is vital to Gladius Infantry. Respect builds the Gladius community and also reflects to outsiders to show that our group has a good community, it is what keeps our community fun. Please keep beliefs to yourselves, and disrespecting other members may lead to a demotion. Gladius will not flame other groups, as that will give us a bad name. If we want to be respected we must earn it by showing respect to others. No one shall also fight against each other or that will result in a minor punishment, we are a family and we do not want to fight. We do not want a player leaving because another player flames or insults them. Intelligence Intelligence is also assessed by your general group knowledge. You should be aware about how the group works, and the systems that are put in place. It would also be excellent if you have a little knowledge of the historical events in Gladius. This is just to make sure that you know what mistakes not to make. Leadership Leadership is a great skill to have when you become a high rank, in your near or later future. Leadership means you can take control, and teach the other three skills before. Therefore, it is vital. It helps us pass our teachings for older generations in Gladius for newer generations.Leadership is earned the higher you go on in the ranks of Gladius . As you get higher in the ranks, you must also learn how to effectively teach, instead of giving nonsense that is not of use to Gladius operatives. Effectively teaching soldiers would be to teach them skills needed from the skill fundamental. As mentioned before leadership is the most important fundamental due to the fact you are educating others on the other tree. Keep in mind that you cannot actually use leadership often until you get higher up in the ranks. What you can do to prepare for when you do get to that time is follow your current leaders. Make them your role models, so when you start leading you know what to and what not to do. Teamwork Teamwork and Participation is a big deal in Gladius Infantry. Teamwork will improve how effectively we work along with participation which allows us to be more effective in battles, without people participating no one will be there to help each other and the group will die. We encourage participation and teamwork, prove your leadership by working with your teammates and leading them while stacking or when fixing the line. Discipline Discipline is important. A way to test your maturity too. All ranks are expected to have a satisfactory amount of maturity. Immaturity will lead to a demotion, and lower chance of you ever earning a high rank position. Discipline is based on responding to a HR. But you can have bad discipline when responding in a bad way to a HR as well. Your attitude towards a HR when doing what he asks reflects on your maturity, respect, and discipline. A bad and know it all attitude can get you demoted and or exiled. Skills Skill is the test of your combat strength. This is majorly important when Gladius goes to war. Skill will be appreciated majorly and adored by many members. If you do not have much skill due to you being new to concepts, do not worry you will be taught. Skill can be based on many things, your ability to sword fight skillfully, and your ability to gun on aim. But, those are the main parts of the skill fundamental, there is also the skill of fast completion of obstacles, and many other concepts. You can test almost every skill from this fundamental at trainings.
There are many ways to gain more skill as said before, the easiest way is to attend trainings, and participate in skill related activities. As the saying goes “Practice Makes Perfect”, the more you work on the skills you need improvement the more it will get better. Remember, that just because you do not have enough skill it does not mean that is a certain fact that you will not get a promotion. The more improvement you exemplify the more likely you will get a promotion.
Also, keep in mind that you may only judge how well you are doing. Feel free to ask any of our high ranks how you are doing, but do not be put down by our opinions. Do your personal best, not others. |
