| hey remember halo 3's multiplayer where you couldn't go on like 90% of the lobbies if you didn't buy the dlc legendary map pack? remember burnout paradise where the dlc gt nighthawk was basically the only car you could use if you wanted to not get constantly taken out? LOADS of games have dlc that's either mandatory or unbalanced |

Multiplayer Payed DLC = breaks player base
Overpriced DLC = breaks fan base

| DLC isn't innately bad. In fact, its can end up being very good business practice. You can expand the game, with-out having to release an expansion pack that whose price would dissuade a great amount of people. However, on the flip side, you CAN make it bad business practice by making the game require DLC for a multitude of things that should instead be patched in. |
