Planet Inhabitants: (give us a small description of them) Well, there are mainly small animals at the plains of the area like mice and rabbits while the jungle is filled with large predators which can eat a human in half a second. The desert is full of scorpion-like animals and the rivers are filled with dangerous and non-dangerous fish. Much about these animals is still unknown so that's all the information possible.
Character: Name: Milos Kilipovic Age: 25 Appearance: Tall around 198 CM, average weight, Caucasian. Plain short black hair and brown eyes. Average in everything else.. Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Bio: As a born Serbian Milos was raised in a middle class family in Belgrade, New Belgrade to be exact. He lived in a medium sized apartment and finished the IT Academy and was hired as an "filed techy" as they would call them for a small group of men, he doesn't think he'll like it at all.
Planet: Name: Kamen V Size: Medium Landscape: It is filled with dozens of biomes divided by valleys, rivers and canyons. On the poles is a frozen icy field while on the equator there are mainly deserts. Right next to the equator is the jungle area and after that there are large oceans splitting them apart from the forests and valleys. Last Inhabitants: The Ones Before History: (optional, if ignored, I will tell the planet's history) Derp
Group: Name: The S.K.E.U - Serbian Kamen Exploration Unit Origin Country: Serbia Purpose: Checking the planet for possible location of humanity's prosperity. Creations: Make them random, I'll create more later but I'll create one now, a large steel wall surrounding the ship's location for security.
-
You admire the view from your compartment peering down onto jungles, rivers and a canyon on the far side. Clear skies today.
For the past 3 weeks you and your team have been residing on a tall mountain that has been flattened towards the top. The large steel walls that stand just below a peak on the mountain where the ship is sat.
Andrew Sailes, an English immigrant who signed up to the S.K.E.U is the team engineer. You haven't officially introduced yourself to the rest of the crew, as they have been posted up at a bunker lower down the mountain, which is responsible for food production and security. Back to the topic of Andrew, his priority as the engineer is to keep the electronics functioning properly, and will disappear for several months every now and then to assure satellites are stable.
Besides all else, you find yourself alone in the five man ship most of the time. Your working hours usually figure themselves as you watching security feeds and staring uninterrupted at a satellite monitor, slowly drifting around Kamen V watching the surface.
However, one day something changed.
Satellite KV02, or in English, Serbia's Eye, came across a metal structure deep in the jungle. Like a network, dark blue lines spread across the jungle floor and eventually came to a stop. It had some sort of cloaking device to prevent you from seeing through the exterior.
It stood just below the jungle canopy and was spiked at the top and several small drones circled the structure.

(So, I'm guessing I'm the only one who knows about this?)
Make sure it isn't some sort of malfunction with the satellite before notifying anyone else about the cloaked object.

(Well, Tikobe and Pirate signed up in the past and their threads got relatively far, but not so many people out of the 190 odd people who viewed the sign up haven't joined. So I suppose you're one of the first people who knows about Destiny in the new year.)
You begin to close in on the location of the cloaked object, but at no point you see it. Perhaps you were hallucinating?

I suppose I might've been hallucinating, I'll just ignore it.

You return the walker to the ship and re-establish connection with the satellite.
The structure is gone but it still leaves its shape in the trees. An opening in the canopy convinces you to return to it later tonight.
You wait several hours until the satellite reaches the canyon you can see in the distance.
Zooming in, the satellite picks up a large group of Komodo Dragon like reptiles scouting the canyon. Moving down the canyon, you spot a cave entrance that is emitting blue light, the same tone as the spiked structure from earlier. Is the world getting to you, or is it real?

You report your findings to the head of the SKEU.
Several hours pass and the tower has expanded slightly through the jungle. |

Recommend sending in a drone or some robotic machine to investigate the unknown object.

The S.K.E.U sends a small scout to investigate.
The spiked structure vanishes, once again.
With lost hope, they send the scout to the light at the canyon. Scuttling it's way inside of the cave and onto a ledge, the scout reveals the source of the light and it is guarded by an electric field. |

Request that the scout attempts figuring out how to power off the field.

The field doesn't show any sign of power supply. Perhaps it's wireless?
The image begins to turn fuzzy and then the audio is cut off. |

Several hours pass and there is no words regarding the scout.
They do, however report that the light has intensified and have found that animals are more aggressive than usual. |

Can we capture the animals and do some experiments on it?

Pursuing scientific development?
A small group of SKEU hunters capture the animals and send them back to your ship. A large cage with the creatures inside is protected by laser gates.
You can melt ice or other solid liquids and then add other substances into a syringe in order to perform an experiment successfully. Painkillers and hallucinogenic drugs will calm the animals and have them react in different ways to the experiments if they are physical. |

Well, you just made this a bit more complicating but... first let's give them some halluciogenic drugs to see if they are influenced by them for a shorter amount of time.

You separate the creatures and give them hallucinogenic drugs.
They all react in various ways, being more paranoid, aggressive and skittish. |

Try extracting some blood from the animals and compare it to the normal animals which weren't affected.

| The blood of the drugged animals is a pale white color, whilst the unaffected animals carry a dark red. |

(I forgot I didn't post...)
I hope not all of the animals are drugged, maybe the drugs themselves changed the blood?

Upon examination, the drugs definitely changed the blood.

Another scout is sent to the light. The last scout is no longer there. The new scout enters with caution.
It reveals that the light is now vulnerable. |

The forcefield is down.
It can be touched but...
it certainly isn't recommended. |
