| Is it a good place to visit in your opinion? I wish to visit those places when I'm older, perhaps the Galapagos Islands also. |

I am Scottish...
The Shetland, Orkney and Western Isles are amazing and the Cairngorms are beautiful.
I will suggest to stay away from the Glasgow slums but apart from that, visit Scotland! |

| BTW, what are the alcohol drinking laws in Ireland? I am mainly wanting to go there for the sights and the music, and IMO the best music is in the bars lol |

@Noswad
If you fancy visiting the North, there are a few options.....
You can go to the City of Aberdeen and go shopping, observing etc. Climb mountains and such.
If you are going even further North....
You can visit Stornoway, Tobermory or Inverness. Climate there is kinda like Southern Norway.
Extreme North?
You can stay a few days in Lerwick, take a prop plane to Fair Isle for a day and come back at night. Watch football in the pubs and kick some snow around. Very beautiful and quiet. |

All part of the former British Empire...
Hmm.
