I should probably start off with explaining player points because they are the base behind all of this information. Player points can be thought of as XBox live achievements or gamer points. When you play a game, the game creator can award you points, if the game has enough player points in the system. Player points are added to the system when money is spent on the game. Currently, player points are either 30% of the money spent or each R spent equals 1 player point. If you think of it, money equals player points, which allows for player point markets, where you can buy points directly instead of earning them. Points will be reset at the end of the beta testing period, and points are currently offline as of 29/4/2014 12:05:00, meaning that player points cannot be currently awarded. Player points are displayed on your profile and are counted towards the global leaderboard found at roblox.com/leaderboards (offline for now). Not only will you be displayed on the global leaderboard for having tons of points, but there are more features planned for player points. Now, I should probably explain clan points because I've explained everything else. Clans can currently be created by the group owner for a fee of 500R$. Clans are a small division of a group in which there can only be 100 members. Each person in the clan is supposed to earn player points or going to war with other clans (effward's elite has wars for points, featuring new features. you should join.). All of a player's player points is added to the total clan points, in which there will be a leaderboard for and possibly even more features. Well, I've spent way too much time writing... or, typing this. If you have any questions, I can probably answer them, just reply. Oh, PS- This is just a mid-beta reset that is occurring. Player points are not completely gone, nor is this the only and final reset. |

tl;dr clan points = all of the player points in a clan added up leaderboards = the people with the most points player points = points that game creators give players, points are generated when stuff is bought |

| Yes, because I'd rather make a full and complete post explaining the topic in depth rather than have no grammar and look like I don't know about the topic. |

you didn't have any grammar.
your structure was completely random until you decided that you had typed enough. it is painful to read.
the tl;dr consolidates it into a short manageable informative format. |

Here's a better explanation from an RBXDev member so I get this info straight from the admins:
Each game in ROBLOX has a budget of points that can be distributed to its players. Points are added to the budget every time a player makes a purchase in the game with Robux. Spending Robux includes buying game passes and developer products
Points are for pride only, although you can make them mean whatever you want in the context of your game, eg: users who've been awarded 100 points this month in your game might warrant VIP. You could also give special treatment based on global point values.
Points are created when there is a sale in your place/universe. You get 30% of the robux sunk in points, eg: 10R$ game pass gets you 3 points to give out.
The points you can give out are place-specific. Only developer products or game passes sold from that game will create points. You can only give out points in the game/universe for which they were created.
Ideas From Admins: We want you to be able to award points to players not in your game so that you could do like a point raffle, for instance: every player who joins your game and wins a match is entered in the raffle. At midnight every day (or as close to it as possible) all available points are randomly awarded to one of those players. Or you award all points to the top 10 players of the day.
