| Is 10 000 bricks too many for a game to run smoothly and not laggy |

It all depends on the computer and/or the amount of bricks in one area and/or looping scripts.
If you have 10000 parts in one spot it could get laggy. Spread the parts out to reduce the lag.
I have seen maps with over 200k parts that ran fine on my machine.
There are some things you can do- Spread out parts helps somewhat. Use a render cell that draws parts when you are near. (Look up Wilderness cell in catalog.) In properties of Workspace you can turn on Streaming , which will work similar to render cells. View your output to see if it is caused by faulty scripts.

H.S. is like even laggier than the Apocalypse Rising. Better build a terrain from the parts. Or maybe, you can build a terrain using the generator and other things to be used. |

| Scacman1967 is right about what machine your using. If your using a Windows XP or something like that that was made 10 years ago, it probably wont handle so well. But if you have like a Windows 7 or 8, your probably get some good gameplay |

The operating system (win Xp, 7, 8) doesnt determine the power of your computer. it may perform some process better or at times worse, its your ram (how much data your computer can process) your cpu (how well your computer can process) and vram or graphics card(how well your computer can display visuals) thats determines how roblox runs
