I tried
local p =script.Parent.Parent.Parent -- plr character local plr=game.Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(p) print(plr.Name)
But says plr is a nil value. How do I find the player, not character from a gui?

| Well, I have no idea why you would even have a GUI in the character, but the code looks good. |

lets say your explorer is this -StarterGui --ScreenGui ---Frame ----Script
script : p = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent -- player c = p.Character
print('yw')
ˢᶦᵈᵉ ᵉᶠᶠᵉᶜᵗˢ ᵐᵃʸ ᶦᶰᶜᶫᵘᵈᵉ﹕ ᶫᵃᶜᵗᵃᵗᶦᶰᵍ, ʰᵉᵃᵈ ᵉˣᵖᶫᵒᵈᶦᶰᵍ ˢʸᶰᵈʳᵒᵐᵉ, ᵃᶰᵈ ᶫᵒˢˢ ᵒᶠ ᵍᵉᶰiᵗᵃᶫˢ |
