Too much apocalypse, they are straying from the original concept of godzilla, a giant monster wrecking cities, they are making it way too drastic. Like i can see why they are doing this, because it is a huge fad right now but have some respect for the franchise.

@Tyrant, And i can see that they honestly want this to be a good movie, its just not the right franchise, like you could make anything, any monster, and it could cause the apocalypse but not godzilla.

@Guinea, that would be a straight middle finger to modern technology in itself.

The original concept of Godzilla was nature's wrath. Born from the fires of the atomic bomb, nature took it's revenge and unleashed Godzilla upon the world.
He is supposed to represent what we fear the most: nuclear war. Look at what Walter White said, about Godzilla reverting the world back into the Stone Age. Nuclear war can certainly revert us back to sticks and stones.
Like Albert Einstein said: "I do not know what weapons humanity fight with in World War 3, but I do know World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." |

I enjoyed the original film even though it was mascots on a small city. I'm interested on this one though.
