| Maybe Canada would fill in America's spot and become the world superpower. That would be interesting. More french speakers, hockey might be more popular than soccer/european football (field hockey for the warmer countries,) the world might all have universal healthcare, etc. |

| I believe we wouldn't have Islamist extremism issues, the US tends to stir the pot up a lot. I think terrorism wouldn't be on the scale it is today, I think technology wouldn't be that amazing. |

For starters, Germany would have won WWII.
Many countries might still be colonies and/or monarchies without the USA's leading example of breaking away from the crown.
Mexico would be significantly larger. |

Because Russia did nothing significant in WWII to stop Germany |

British Empire would still exist, a central British co-operative bank would have over-thrown all the corporate banks, Freemasonry would have been abolished, drugs would never have been abused, there would be no Afghanistan and there would be no social engineering/current crimes against humanity.
As for Germany would have won WWII, WWII only started because of WWI. Though the U.S helped in WWI Britain and France could have still won (though it would have been far more costly, of course) but the imperial territories of both Britain and France would have prevented it from running out of man power before the Germans did who only had the lands of which they sat on.

"Many countries might still be colonies and/or monarchies without the USA's leading example of breaking away from the crown."
I can understand these colonies not wanting to be part of the French Empire or Portuguese/other Empires that had a poor justice system but hope you understand (which I highly doubt you will) that an Empire such as the British Empire had a humane justice structure (much less racism than other Empires/AMERICA).
If you realy think some of these countries are "better off" then you haven't seen the world. Let's take Rhodnesia for example (modern day Zimbabwe more or less)...this was once the most furtile land in all of Africa. Most furtile under the British Empire who employed expert canal engineers to drain the flat lands to create these furtile plains.
When Rhodnesia collapsed (thanks to "American help") and became Zimbabwe these canal systems collapsed. All the British farming equipment fell apart, people starved. And you know what was most wonderful about it all? A dictator replaced the "monarchy rule" who enslaved more of his own people than the British could ever have dreamed of...now they all starve.
I'm sure that's "helping." Please learn some real history over stereotypes/propaganda please. Oh and I have met many people from former colonies who would prefer the British back.

We would be fine or maybe better. Vietnam would be fine. Iraq would be fine. Terrorism - Low. And inventions? US Inventions: [US Pop. 300 Mill] - Um. - Uhh. - 3D Printer. - Oh! The Air plane! - The Nuclear Bomb ( A bad thing ) - Microwave And that's pretty much it. Now.. US vs A 4 Million Pop. Country
Scotland Inventions: - Bike - Penicillin - TV - Capitalism - Fridges - Curling - Log Hurling

The only reasonable thing I could see without the US is North America having more than just three nations (assuming the British didn't go on to conquer the remaining lands of NA), the other European powers might have been able to keep their claims as well.
Perhaps what were the thirteen colonies would have assimilated with the northern provinces in Canada and, well, you know, Britain with its giant chunk of NA. Might have helped Britain remain a power longer with such a big share.
Anything past 1800 isn't really up for debate. There's no telling where we would be. |

"a whole lot less technology."
You really made me laugh on that one. Another example of how your taught into thinking America made the world. Pfft, most American technology came from Europe particularly Britain and Germany.
Let's begin with a FEW.
Britain invented the first stationary steam engine. Britain invented the first reliable steam pump and valve. Britain invented the first moving steam engine. Britain invented the first railway line. Britain invented the first iron suspension Bridge. Britain invented the first wide arch bridge. Britain invented the first viaducts. Britain invented the first steam powered tractor. Britain invented the first formula-one racing axle. Britain invented the first incline railway. Britain invented the first light bulbs. Britain invented the first global navigational system. Britain invented the first jet engine. (sold to America for WW2) Britain invented the first generated electricity (and discovered it) Britain invented the first blue prints for a nuclear reactor. (sold to America for WW2) Britain invented the first light houses. Britain invented the first hurricane-proof light house. Britain invented the first electrical appliances. Britain invented the first theory of evolution, universe, gravity, ect. Britain invented the first temperate forest management system. Britain invented the first rain forest management system Britain invented the first reliable seaplanes. Britain invented the first vertical take-off for jets (Harrier Jump Jet.) Britain invented the first co-operative society. Britain invented the first national trust/conservation system. Britain invented built the world's largest ship of the 19th Century. Britain conducted the first environmental and geological surveys in the world. And the list could go on.
Germany invented the first ballistic missile. Germany invented the first unmanned aircraft/flying bomb. Germany invented the first the first stealth fighter. Germany invented the first rocket (first object into space). Germany invented the first rocket powered aircraft. Germany invented the first theories of natural geometric forms in science. Germany invented the first theories for electricty and magnetism. Germany invented the first facilities for the search of alternative energy. Germany invented the first intercontinental railway network (though was never built) Germany invented the first functional nuclear reactor. Germany invented the first modern lightning offensive military tactic. Germany invented the first submarine warfare tactics. Germany invented the first reliable water powered pump. Germany was the first country to realize that explosive fuels could lead to environmental destruction. Germany laid down the blue prints modern computers. Again, there's probably a lot more.
Both countries along with many other European powers invented/discovered much of the scientific knowledge we use today. No U.S wouldn't mean the world would be less technologically advanced. Most of the what the U.S has was taken from Britain (as a price for joining WW2) and taken from the ruins of Germany after WW2. That's why I included Germany + Britain; I could have done Russia, or Greece, or Italy, etc, because they had a greater input than the U.S as well.

@Propellerhead
I have made it clear that I have met PEOPLE FROM THESE "COLONIZED" territories and I also have relatives from those places - I take all views into considoration. Though of course there were bad things about the British Empire; the positive inputs out weighed the negative ones and as the Empire progressed most of the negative inputs were abolished.
Shows how little you know, but then again I shouldn't be bothering as you'll use another re-circulated line such as "you have autism" or "get out." I have better things to attend to. |

1
When Britain first, at Heaven's command Arose from out the azure main; This was the charter of the land, And guardian angels sang this strain: "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves." 2
The nations, not so blest as thee, Must, in their turns, to tyrants fall; While thou shalt flourish great and free, The dread and envy of them all. "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves." 3
Still more majestic shalt thou rise, More dreadful, from each foreign stroke; As the loud blast that tears the skies, Serves but to root thy native oak. "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves." 4
Thee haughty tyrants ne'er shall tame: All their attempts to bend thee down, Will but arouse thy generous flame; But work their woe, and thy renown. "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves." 5
To thee belongs the rural reign; Thy cities shall with commerce shine: All thine shall be the subject main, And every shore it circles thine. "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves." 6
The Muses, still with freedom found, Shall to thy happy coast repair; Blest Isle! With matchless beauty crown'd, And manly hearts to guard the fair. "Rule, Britannia! rule the waves: "Britons never will be slaves."
