Curious. A computer is the next priority. I need something that's portable, yet can run most things on low pretty efficiently (I'd say 25 butter smooth frames is fine by me).
I want the Gateway LT41P07U, it's small, light, and has a touchscreen.
Slower than my current PC, but I don't really heavy game on computer anymore.

That "laptop" has a 1.43 GHz processor. One core. Single core CPUs are dead. Nobody uses them, and they are bad news for gaming. Also, 2 GB of RAM? Why? I don't think the thing even has a video card. |

@Zan It's dual core.
And 2GB RAM. I have 2GB of RAM in my current PC.
It's integrated I believe.
And I would consider the ASUS X102BA-BH41T as well.

If you're looking to get a cheap laptop, save up more money. Get a laptop without a touchscreen. Touchscreen = more money. |

@Zan I just hate the "Metro" layout without a touch screen. I know I can downgrade, but that's an extra $70 as I don't have 7 on my PC yet.
Also, like I said, I am not a heavy gamer.

Get a windows 7 PC, then. Or, get windows 8.1
Also, it doesn't matter if you're a heavy "gamer" or not, you're going to just be playing flash games with 280 dollars. |

Get an Asus Transformer Book T100. Its price ranges from 300-400 but you could possibly get one for less.
It has a quad-core processor and you can ACTUALLY REMOVE THE SCREEN FROM THE KEYBOARD |

"you can ACTUALLY REMOVE THE SCREEN FROM THE KEYBOARD" this usually means the specs are garbage the specs aren't much of an upgrade from the one op was wanting though |

It's at least a quad-core with an SSD from a decent brand. |

I like that Transformer Book. The speeds aren't very far from what I have right now, and it does seem very portable and it has a touchscreen.
$300 dollars, but it's probably worth it.

My laptop, w/o a 1 year warranty, was around $700.
1080p on low-medium, 120 and higher FPS with the right Nivida settings. |

| If you want something cheap that is clearly going to be used for basic things if performance doesn't matter then get the nexus 7 instead |

@Rock Xbox One- $500 PS4- $400
I am afraid to go over $500, or heck, $300 because I know if I save a little more, I can get a next gen console.
I am a console person to be quite honest.

@Sama I would rather get a Windows tablet or an iOS tablet over Android right now.
They removed all the good games I wanted.
