Greetings Servicemen and Servicewomen of the Central Intelligence Agency,
The following texts will describe the current ranking system in the Agency:
CHAPTERS:
I: Why? II: Ranks
I: Why?
- Over my lengthy service period in the Agency, going through every rank (including in the academy), I've realized that the current abundance of ranks is unnecessary in functioning as a major intelligence gathering force of the United States. To act upon these redundant placeholders, I've decided to amend the ranks for the benefit of the workforce.
II: Ranks
* ADMINISTRATIVE RANKS *
"Founder"
- This rank is reserved for our one and only founder, Nightgaladeld.
"President"
- This rank is reserved for any current President of the United States (POTUS).
"Vice President"
- This rank is reserved for any current Vice President of the United States (VPOTUS).
"Director (D/CIA)"
- At the head of the Central Intelligence Agency, he/she is in charge of maintaining the whole agency, making sure it functions properly.
"Deputy Director (DD/CIA)"
- Assisting the Director, he/she is responsible for cooperating with the Director, assisting him/her by providing advisory aid, and maintaining the agency at his/her side.
"Executive Director (ED)"
- The Executive Director serves as the Agency's manager, managing various items from public affairs, to overseeing agents in the field.
"Executive Deputy Director (EDD)"
- At the Executive Director's side is the Executive Deputy Director. He/she will aid the Executive Director in any appropriate way, pertaining to their line of duty.
"Chief of Staff (CoS)"
- This staff member is crucial in maintaining the many agents of the CIA. He/she will host trainings to make sure the staff is still capable for duty. The Chief of Staff is comparable to the Executive Director and his/her deputy.
"Chief Advisor (CA)"
- At the Director and Deputy Director's side, this high rank is the main supplier of advisory aid. He/she will host Advisor meetings to decide on crucial matters pertaining to national security.
"Advisor (AD)"
- Supplying the stated high ranks with valuable decisions, these men and women will make important choices for the CIA's actions on national security.
"Intelligence Community (IC)"
- In order to maintain proper functionality in the federal government, the CIA must also collaborate with other US intelligence gathering forces in the Intelligence Community. The heads of those forces will reside in this rank.
"Board of Directors (BoD)"
- Leading the off-branches of the CIA, these high-ranks and their associates maintain their own organizations within the CIA, much like the Director does with the Agency.
