2. we acknowledge and admit our football/soccer league is terrible and won't try and sugarcoat it.
3. our fans don't think we'll just waltz in and win every major sporting comp COUGH*UPCOMINGWORLDCUP*COUGH. |

I, MB1, America's only AFL fan, approve of this message.
Screw padball. |

1. No American I know has said we're going to win the World Cup lol
2. I'll laugh when you play a hockey game without pads and end up in the hospital, or an American football game where you get hit at full force on every single play. (And don't compare it to rugby cause it's not the same at all) |

one actually said that the us have the quality. granted, everyone else was calling him a delusional moron but the sad thing is people actually stood up and agreed with the guy.

me falling over 5 times in an ice skating rink with shorts on and falling into a wall without going into the hospital proves that first statement bs. as for nfl, watch afl and see your statement is again bs.

This thread is stupid.
Studies have shown that if Ray Lewis can hit you the way he use to usually on a guy without pads, you'd die. |

@dead: Ray Lewis also has more energy because he gets FAR LESS fatigued than an AFL player, AFL and rugby players are actually being worked hard for 80+ minutes and can't focus on one or tow big hits, also the play doesn't die after a tackle in either sports you and rune are bashing on. |

| Guys, maybe that's since AFL players have to actually be in shape? Ever consider that? |

@MB1
That's my damn point That's why pads are necessary The extra energy that goes into hits makes pads important if you don't want to end up paralyzed or dead |

| But in AFL/rugby you get more contact since you get hit more often, have to hit more often, and have to do more in general over the span of a game, rather than making 3-4 tackles. |

| Guys AFL footballers are on the field for 80 minutes, NFL players are on the field for an average of 25 minutes. |

You're implying that an AFL player is involved in every play at all times..?
JJ Watt has to go through OLs and cover every damn play. |
