| @phoniex Quick, give all the popular shows animes! If we say it, it's as good as done! Community, Big Bang Theory, Mad Men, Modern Family, EVERYTHING IS NOW ANIME-IZED! |

No...No...N...N....N...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
If you even DARE, suggest this idea...I...I...I...I'll... Well there isn't much I can do, I mean we're on an online chatboard. But I swear I'll think of something! Keep your filthy anime away from the perfection that is A Song of Ice and fire!
Don't even dare bring this up again. I am going to go and physically hurt something now. I need to let out some steam. |

Dont force it. Just because they are both good doesn't mean you should put them together.

@mageofpower Yeah, it probably wouldn't. But as someone who doesn't really watch that kind of anime; Supernatural anime, Mass Effect anime, most of the Marvel animes (THAT'S NOT HOW WOLVERINE SHOULD LOOK!), etc., it's still kinda fun to see. They so rarely come out any good, but it's just surreal and hilarious to be like, "Really? We're doing that one now? Well, OKAY... At least make it look nice, alright?"

@mageofpower XD Yep it is. Actually, that one apparently had a pretty decent reception. They got Freddie Prince Jr. to reprise his character in the dub, one of the composers from the games also worked on the soundtrack, and Bioware helped produce as well.

Let's just say, as a book and anime lover, THEY DO NOT MIX. SERIOUSLY. THE ONLY TIME BOOKS AND ANIME MIX IS MANGA(WHICH IS WHAT ANIME CAME FROM) OR LIGHT NOVELS

| @0Reborn0 Aren't there tons of anime series that were based off books? Little Women, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Nadia), Count of Monte Cristo (Gankutsuou), Anne of Green Gables, A Dog of Flanders, Heidi, several of the Mark Twain novels, Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Hound and Detective Conan), not to mention certain of the Studio Ghibli films (Howl's Moving Castle, The Earthsea series, The Borrowers). Some of these are old classic animes, some new. But it's been done well on occasion. |

Well, I gues it's true.. But you know, it's a little bit hard to say what exactly Japan will do to any books, because you might get some based of books like Detective Conan(which is fantastic) and some others, ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.... You get something that looks like you tried to cram a puppy, lobster, and a tarantula into a small box.
Like, a GoT anime would sound like one of those "Not sure if it's a bad idea or good" Plus, the voices would be weird compared to the English ones And... You gotta ask, if a GoT anime was ever made, how big would they make the BOING BOING BOING go? |

I still think AoT is like game of thrones
cuz the main characters die so much
NEVER EVER GET ATTACHED TO A CHARACTER. |

| who would waste their money on an anime adaptation when there's already an extremely popular live-action adaptation that would overshadow it |

Game of Thrones is one of the shows, from what I've heard people say, is so good on its own that making an anime for it would lower its quality. It's kinda like dubbing anime. The anime is usually really good on its own, so if you dub it it might lower its quality (except with good dubs like DBZ, or something like that) |

@0Reborn0 Why assume it would be like mainstream anime? From the looks of the Mass Effect anime, they made it with an American audience in mind, because they were the main audience for it. So (as far as I know), the character designs are more westernized, it never had a Japanese voice cast, and Bioware had a hand in the process.
I mean, an anime based off all the stuff they did on the TV series already? There's no point to that; that story is told. But maybe a short mini series or a movie, focusing on a side character or an important event that was mentioned but never really delved into? That could be interesting.

| @TheSchadenfreude Oh no, I totally agree; it's probably not needed. I'm just not against it if it was done, is all. And if done well, it could be something really cool. It's sort of like how I'm wary against any of the Marvel animes that come out, because so far they've mostly been pretty bleh and not added anything to the Marvel universe. But I keep thinking that there's so much possibility to make something really good. So I keep hoping that maybe at some point, there'll be that right combo of animation studio, writers, directors, and balance of the original creators influence plus letting the Japanese staff have their own hand in it. |

Well, it's kinda like this.
Remember how Sword Art Online was hailed are FABULOUS the first 13 episodes, then a lot of people said "Episodes 14-26 sucked"
Kinda like that. o3o
