| I can't get into any game, it just happened somehow. When I click on "Play", the thing opens up and said "Roblox is Updating", as usual. Normally it'd open it by now, but it took longer than usual. It couldn't have taken that long. I've been waiting for an hour and yet it haven't opened. Well, I guess it's from too many updates Roblox made so far. All I know is some other players have this same issue. Also, I have Windows 8. I have no idea what to do to fix this issue. Any help that fixes the issue, thanks for it! If not, thank you for at least trying to help me! |

| I have a Windows 8 too and it won't work too except mine says it is Updating and it shows it's updating on a Pop up but it doesn't work. Im going to try to UnInstall then install again. |

Just 1. Click the 'Start menu' 2. Type in the search bar 'cmd' 3. Right click on cmd and select 'Run as administrator' 4. In the command prompt, type in 'hdwwiz.exe' 5. A window 'Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard' will open, click 'Next' 6. Select 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) 7. Scroll down and select 'Network adapters' and click 'Next' 8. Under 'Manufacturer' select 'Microsoft' 9. Under 'Network Adapter' scroll down and select 'Microsoft Loopback Adapter' 10. Click 'Next' and again click 'Next' 11. Try running the ROBLOX player or RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe from the 'Start menu' |

@RobuxLife I'm sorry, but it doesn't work at all. 72Tom72 is correct, it doesn't work for everyone. Maybe it did for you, but not for me. Are those instructions for Windows 8 or Windows 8 users?
I still need help. Isn't there any way to fix it? |

Hmm. Lets do it another way. :) Go to search type %appdata%, then click "roaming", when done it says appdata up top click the arrow then click local delete roblox folders, then click appdata again then press locallow then delete RBLX logs. Then remove all shortcuts of roblox, and install. I hope this works! :) |

| I'm having the same problem. I've uninstalled Roblox and reinstalled (Twice), cleared my cookies, waited ages, and tried logging into studio. None of it has worked as of yet. |

| All the stuff you guys are saying is true. I also have windows 8.... I also can't play any game it says THe server is ready joinnig game and it never comes up...... Roblox really messed up this time. RObuxLife I've cleared cookies, system, restored,did the %appdata%, i got mad, and I uninstalled and reinstalled it just won't work goodbye roblox until the next update........... Nothing gonna work unless we PROTEST but no hope :( |

| No one here is not helping me at all. I mean, it seems like there's no way to fix the issue myself. And all I know is, Roblox is fixing it. I heard it somewhere else but I don't know for sure. Some other players doesn't have this issue but why don't they have the issue when everyone else could have the same problem? Is it the problem only on one certain computer? I don't know if there's a solution to it without Roblox actually fixing it. |

Let's do a process of elimination here.(This is just in my case,probably different for others.)
It's not the computer,i've been moving between two connections,one will let me on games while the other won't.This could mean it's the connection.
We know it doesn't apply to all players,so I doubt it's an update.
That's really all the info. known about the problem so far.
If any other info is known about this,please bring it here and we may be able to figure it out.
(ROBLOX will fix the update,if they don't they'll lose a lot of players.) |
