TAF, The Atlantean Fleet, as a few people know (who are specifically bystanders. I am well aware I'm posting this on a public forum) is Valrath's final attempt at giving the clan world some juice. I support it - not him in all things, mind you - because it's a method through which I can build and release ideas to the clan world through.
Which is... a bit hard, I guess. Val likes to get carried away in a lot of stuff.
TAF's original "release" day was estimated to be sometime in June, so ages ago I started casually building a few things - as I am the clan's only current committed base builder. A month ago he told me he wanted the base done by the 26th, when I had only just sketched it out and was working on a personal project. Fun-fun. I agreed to it and said I'd get it done as fast as possible. Considering the scale of it... well, I knew what I was in for. The design, from a builder's perspective, could be considered something like Baseception. Even with the scope in mind, I wanted it to be an awesome base to start out with.
tl;dr, I overestimated myself a tiny wee bit when building the base. Also Valrath overestimated me massively and got impatient.
Aaaand, bad news? Right, right. Bleh. The base isn't going to be done by the 28th, unless I somehow pull an allnighter, fix the weapons up, fix the shields, get the raid scripts in working order, AND get the opening event to the base scripted and ready. Oh, not even mentioning the tiny bits of building that still need to be done, even if the bulk IS finished and it largely rests on terrain at the moment.
tl;dr, the base will be released at a later date unless JESUS TAAAKE THE MOOUUUSSSSEEEEEEE happens. In shorter terms, a miracle.
But, hey, it's not ALL my fault. I kind've got shot in the foot by the State in regards to college prep. Effectively all of my free time got reduced to nil and even then I build the majority of the base in the last week alone. That counts for something, right? Right?
Meh.
tl;dr, the united states education system is the stupid
TAE will continue as normal, and I might increase it from 5 parts to like 8 parts now that the release is pushed back. Oh well.
I want the place, and opening, to be as perfect as possible. Releasing it in an unfinished state would be comparable to something like Rome II or, worse, Infinity Ward.
*shudders*
meh lol
tl;dr cod sucks
sigh

I agree.
I'd rather have it complete in its perfect state (because I know it'll be amazing) than release it on opening day.
We're working on getting the training center done asap, so it shouldn't be an issue.
Thank you for notifying us all!
And Crazy, if you really think I'm the one who flames constantly. I am yet to see a post by you that isn't some sort of flame or hyping up TCC. Just saying ;P

@Crazy
Future advice;
Ignoring flame is the key to success. Avoiding useless argument is good.
