| For me, fps is like brightness. At first you're like "oh hey, there's the difference." But then your eyes adjust and it seems normal. |

I have seen them around, I know 4k TVs are appearing in 30hz versions

That's only because an absurd amount of bandwidth is required for a 60hz 4K TV set, it has to be locked at 30hz.
But I'm like 99.9% sure OPs TV is a standard 1080p/60hz set up. |

| It depends on the genre of the game, if you are comparing a turn-based game like civilization to an FPS then obviously you wouldn't notice much difference. However if you compared the same game running at 30 and 60fps side-by-side then the difference is night and day |

60 fps is a huge difference if you're an action gamer. If you're just playing casual games, fps means almost nothing. |
