About a month ago, ValiantCorsair, the so ever gracious leader of Imperium Empire, asked me to help out with his group as a high rank. He said he needed help with structure, activity, etc. I accepted because I thought he was a good person and I considered him my friend. I came out of my happy retirement from this cursed game to help him and it bit me right in the backside.
What I didn't account for, was that he procrastinates like no other person I've seen since Darkggod. He has no real idea what he wants, although he went to considerable lengths to tell him what he envisioned as what any leader would hope for(but if you ask him again, he'll pretty much claim he doesn't know). His hopes for the group are unable to be achieved, however. I asked him time and time again for specific projects that he wanted work on, and the gist of it was "later".
Now, IE is developing a new base. I had to ask him several times just to get even anything out of him about what he wanted for it. He doesn't know. He's having someone build a wall for the base and yet he has no plan for the base, and no idea on what he even wants for it. I couldn't even get a base SHAPE out of him even after listing at least 3 different shapes.
He does, however, put trust into most of the right people. His current HRs are good. They can deal with his future-lacking ideals for the clan and just do raids and trainings. What I was brought in for was to not only be able to do raids and trainings (in which I never did because I was waiting on him), but to help set up structure and a pretty while-lasting core of high ranks. Upon asking many times, as I've said before, he just pretty much said "later", and recently said that it "[wasn't] a priority". I'm sorry, Val, but you're wrong. The activity is great, but you lack the understanding that once activity is achieved, structure is what keeps it going.
ValiantCorsair is a great person, but as a leader, he needs the equivalent to Briank to ever be what we'd call accomplished. He's clever and charismatic as a person and friend, but when he goes into leader mode, he procrastinates and does whatever he even does. I'll be posting this to the IE wall, and I'm pretty sure that he'll be in a fuss because of this and our argument in our private chat and delete it.
Oh well. See you, IE. I enjoyed your company when I was present. |

Dravum, I knew you were terrible since the first day I entered the stronghold and saw that you were a HR with no experience or background knowledge of IE. Second, Valiant is.. an amazing leader. He has helped IE SOO much you can hardly believe it. I knew also when you said you weren't loyal to IE at all. IE will grow and you will miss it.
thats my take. |

| Congratulations on your commitment and I'm sure Val is grateful for it, but I told everyone what it is and if you can't accept it, then you shouldn't have looked at this thread in the first place. |

Don't start hate on a thread.
He entered with dignity and he's leaving with dignity.
I can admit my faults. I do procrastinate. I am very indecisive. Unfortunately, in this case, I couldn't make ends meet with my dear friend.
I have a lot on my to-do list, and I don't know which will come first. In the presence of war, external affairs conflicts, internal conflicts, development, and everything else that gets in my way, it's hard for me to keep track.

| So in other words you are saying everyone should accept your opinion as their own? No. |

| I offered to help him before but he doesn't deem me as a leader although and maybe I'm just being cocky but I am way better than the majority when I am actually leading |

@Avilo, I'm not sure if you know this, but IE was, as a whole, much larger before Valiant Corsair took over as leader (and DarkRider f*cked everything up.) Saying that, I'm not implying Valiant hasn't done anything for IE as he has clearly brought together a bunch of talented, intelligent members to be the backbone of the group. However, (correct me if I am wrong) he actually took over from a person that is from the RobloxWiki group (can't remember his name) who was put in-charge to actually re-stabilize IE and bring it back from the dead with the support of a number of old members after it was sold off to a hacker who removed every single original IE member who had made their own contribution in making IE the group it once was, effectively ending a very powerful, active group after hundreds, possibly thousands of members left.
The point is, Avilo, don't get mad at Dravum just because he is leaving the group. He clearly tried his best to help IE, even when his ideas on how to try and improve the group were not seen as important, or were not implemented. I have not been part of IE for a very long time since that disastrous day, and I have to agree, Valiant Corsair has obviously put a lot of effort and time into IE, creating a suitable environment for a war clan. In contrast, others in the past have also tried their hand at helping to revive the group, Dravum, in my opinion should have been one of them, mainly because he was brought out of retirement to help a leader in need of some support.
Just saying.
