Ok, so I have a few suggestions and ideas for the game, Baumz, but all is optional. You can ignore this whole post if you want, I just like to keep my ideas somewhere so I don't forget them

1. Selective Face-Off Positioning

I've been somewhat bothered by the automatic placement of face-offs, especially on power plays where you are automatically thrown to bench side on a 2v3 power play. So, my idea was that you teleport the wings to the same spots, but do not freeze them and instead prevent them from crossing over to the other half of the face-off, preventing unwanted positioning and preventing wings from entering the face-off circle and entering the opposing team's half of the face-off

2. Pickups Option

Pickups is a great way for players to play without worrying about the seriousness of hockey season games. So, I was thinking you could go about this a few ways.

First would be to say a command such as "pickup game" and from there, it season games the server, randomly selects a team (randomly assigning even amount of players in server to the teams) then selecting a captain to pick the jersey/stadium, temporarily granting them GUI access for benching.

Second would be to say the command like "pickup game" and it randomly selects the teams and from there it seasons and starts, making sure that the captain is someone with admin.

Third would be to say the command like "pickup game" and it randomly selects 2 captains and they select there teams (for order, you can go all out and add a coin toss, or randomly select first captain, either way). From there, if the captain is someone without admin, make it so that the captains can say "pick NAMEHERE" and it will automatically move that player onto the team, making them no longer available to the other captain.

This command would be useful and would help keep pickups more organized. My main intention of pickups was to allow players to relax and play with other skilled players and to also allow captains to find new talent in pickups for possible signings in the future. This would allow more people in pickups and more chances of increasing the population of players instead of free agents.

3. Checking Animations (as suggested by LuckyEclipse)

In NHL, it's impossible for someone to get launched across the rink by a check. Unfortunately, it is possible with some of the inconsistent checks in HHCL. Someone gets checked, they go flying what could translate to about 30 feet in real life, which is kind of ridiculous. I know, it's not the easiest to code, but you made fighting and this could be easier if taken the right way. What my thought is would be to add a rag doll effect where the players limbs go free and just move pending upon the power of the check and the momentum of the checker. This way, instead of being launched by force that really isn't there, the player will be pushed by the speed of the defender/checker.

4. Check Boosting

Same as above, NHL doesn't really have checks that propel the players at the puck, rather they gain momentum and use their momentum to try to knock the other player down. This should be how checking is in HHCL. Not speeding 50 mph at someone and sending them to the other side of the rink, but instead, using their momentum just to knock the player against the boards or just flat on the ice.

5. Tripping

Poke checks and diving are some of the best parts of HHCL, but they're over abused. Even I find myself poke checking way too much. It is a great tool, if used correctly, but there should be consequences for misuse. Adding tripping would keep players from mindlessly tapping X or tapping left mouse, making defense more difficult.

6. Extending Autosave Distance For PGHL

Yes, I know it is too much to extend the autosave range for AI goalies because the lag could drop the puck, but in PGHL, goalies should be well trained for a desperate chance at a buzzer beater or just a long range PK clear. Goalies should be able to stop a puck they see coming from at least midline. I think the autosave range should be at the midline to add more interesting ways to score on a player goalie. This could catch a goalie off guard who should be paying attention. But I know there could be many problems with this, definitely lag issues, so that is why this one isn't as important to me as the other suggestions.

7. Skating Animations (as suggested by LuckyEclipse)

I actually thought this was a pretty good idea, but it is somewhat unnecessary. Having skating animations will just make noobish players want to play more in public servers and it would also make the game seem less defying of physics. Once again, not a priority, just something to think about.

8. Fixed Camera (like in NHL games)

I think it would be really cool if there was an option to select a suspended camera that is at the approximate angle and height of the EA NHL games. The only problem with this is far range shots/passes. This seems far fetched and near impossible, so this is also just a miscellaneous suggestion, nothing too important.

So, these are some suggestions and none of them have to be implemented, just wanted to see how useful they were to you, Baumz, or see if they help you come up with different ideas/solutions/implementations. Thanks for reading it.

I have a little more Ceremonial ideas

[1]. Home Opener Setting: My favorite time of the NHL Season is the home opener, we should add a setting into the game to pack in all of that excitement. I will go over some more perks in #2 as well. There will be the fake smoke machine bursting when every player comes out and when the captain comes out last , "The Man" by Alloe Blacc plays as the captain skates out of the tunnel. It seems farfetched but I would be extatic if this would be able to happen for the Coyotes home opener in seasoj 6

[2]. Picking your own jersey number and putting it on the jersey: I have no clue how Baumz would code this but I think that the HHCL would be a lot cooler with jersey numbers. I cant bear those RNHL dweebs laughing at us with our blank jerseys while they are all fancy with their custom made jerseys. It will be neat to see in the near future I hope.

[3]. Line Settings: It is hard for us captains to unbench 3 people at one time. Setting lines would be a lot more organized and you can just click a button to b/ub those 3 players you want together.

[4]. Booing Away Goals: Why in the name of h3ll would the home team celebrate the Away team scoring. It should be lots of booing fans as the horn and then whatever sad song or whatever for the song.

[5]. Goalie Chants: Whenever a goalie makes a huge save their name should be chanted. ex: Nabby!! Nabby!!! Nabby!!! for the Islanders. Simple as that

[6]. Ice Girls: Make them clean up the ice during "TV Timeouts" and me timeouts a lot more interesting

[7]. An Actual HHCL Sports Center show on YouTube and Broadcasting Channels on YouTube: Using Sippy's amazing idea for the HHCL Network should result in an actual YouTube channel

[8]. Custom Goalie Masks and Pads: (HHCL) Captain sets it (PGHL) Goalie sets it. Makes the goalie a lot prettier. If a player can customize their stick, why not a custom goalie!

I have so many more ideas but im not listing them at this time

Heres the 2nd half

[9]. Customized Alternate Jerseys: Every captain should have to option to submit any shirt to the game to wear as their Alternate Uniform

[10]. The "C"s and the "A"s: Using the same whatever coding in #2 there shoulf be a generated C or A on the Captain/Alt Captains uniform.

[11]. Zambonis: Instead of having players mindlessly hit each other, there should be a generated zamboni on the ice for 2-3 minutes giving teams time to generate a gameplan, which brings me to number 12

[12]. Locker Room Access: Letting teams head to their locker rooms during intermission time makes it more secure to develop a game plan. For game plans there should also be a visual thay the "C" or "A" can draw on and discuss the play.

[13]. Injuries: Nothing is invinsible, being mindlessly checked 100 times should cause an injury. The locker room doctors will check the injured player out and determine how long the injury will last

[14]. Game Misconducts: If a player fights 3+ times or starts to pen on purpose, they should get taken out of the game.

I hope these Ideas could be added to the game, lol my Ice Girls idea from s3 survived xD

Pocket I don't wanna sound mean here but.....most of these ideas are unnecessary like for example:Ice Girls,I mean really you probably want that to look at a virtual girl skate around the ice.

Like in real life (this idea is useless because of roblox's physics) baumz can make the ice scratchy/dirty moving towards the end of the period, then he can add an see through zamboni (so no one can knock it over) because in real hockey it's extremely hard to pass and score without a fresh sheet of ice.

2. get rid of those damn checks during the intermission/ceremony, instead, the players should freeze at the blue lines for the national anthems.

3. line brawls, this is useless because of 3v3, but if he added this, that would be epic, you can just ignore this.

4. day/night games, yeah no one cares about the sky in a virtual game, but it would be cool to have a day night cycle for hockey games,

5. get rid of the freakin wall jump (enough said)

6. for a score or an assist, a team can group celebrate, if it's an unassisted goal, he can pose.

7. the command "practice mode" (suggested by noal63) make it so if you score you wouldn't have to wait that long, because it's a practice..not an exhibition game.

Oh, yes, I forgot about the power bar idea. When you play football legends, you see a power bar on the side to see how hard you are throwing the ball, this would be useful for shooting AND checking because then people could work on timing checks based off of the meter.

donald, i highly doubt there would be 0 pens because of lag drawing and boosting. if baumz does get rid of check boosting, then the power bar shouldnt be added, but if baumz keeps the boost checking, the power bar would be fine

- Glass breaking (If a puck hits the glass and gets stuck, the glass shatters)
- Net move (If the net is hit with such force, it can be moved *ONLY BY AI GOALIE*)
- New jumbotron (self explanatory)
- Entrances (When certain teams enter the ice, a item entrance will appear *in florida the players come out of a panther, in san jose the players come out of a shark, ect*)
- Table top body checks (players can bend over and can form table top other player *if player 1A bends over near boards and player 2A checks player 1B over 1A that is a table top hit)
