Arvonian Dominion / The Codex
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[Section One - Introduction]

As Sovereign BenMck of the Arvonian Dominion, I warmly welcome you. You may be reading this forum because you're newly recruited into the Dominion and/or because you're just curious about what the Dominion is about. The following Codex has been laid out so that you can successfully understand how the Dominion works and will explain to you how you will be working with us during your time within the Dominion. I recommend reading all the sections carefully and slowly so that you can get the most out of the Codex and so that we don't have to bring up such matters later on. Once again I wish to warmly welcome you to the Arvonian Dominion.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[Section Two - On-duty / Off-duty]

On-duty / Off-duty:

1/ If you are in any official uniform of the Dominion: You are on duty.

2/ If you are at any Arvon-related facility or base: You are on duty

3/ When the Arvonian Dominion or affiliated groups are marked as your primary: You are on duty.

4/ When you are discussing a topic regarding the Dominion, or its affiliated groups: You are on duty.

5/ When you are in a server with an actively serving, representing member of the Dominion: You are on duty.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[Section Three - Laws]

This is the standard set of laws that all units of the Arvonian Dominion are to follow. Any soldiers,
Or Officers found breaking these rules shall be punished in a suitable manner.

1/ Higher-ranking Arvons must be referred to as 'Sir' or 'Ma'am' at all times.

2/ Grammar and punctuation. Units are expected to present themselves well in all aspects, including that of speaking. Full grammar and punctuation is expected to be used when on duty.

3/ Defending against the Dominion during a raid is strictly forbidden. (IE. Opening Gate as a Dominion Unit) Doing this will class you as a traitor and will result in banishment from the Dominion.

4/ As a member of the Dominion, you are never to leave a raid, or a defence to do something else. If you are required to leave for real-life reasons, or you happen to disconnect, you MUST let the Commanding Officer of your server know within 24hours.

5/ Arvons must *ALWAYS* be mature, this cannot be stressed enough. Though there are many ways to define maturity, we look at immaturity as whether an Arvon is behaving in an appropriate manner depending on the situation.

6/ Respect. Not just those above, but those below you. Respect is something that brings us all together as a community and as an Dominion. We are all united, so we should all treat each other as if our lives depended on it.

7/ Arvons are required to address their peers and fellow members with proper, respectful titles, such as ‘Sir’, ‘Ma’am’, ‘Comrade’, or by their rank. This does not mean spamming the title, nor using it sarcastically

8/ Obey Orders. Follow the wishes and orders of your superiors to the letter; carry it out to the best of your ability, and carry it out efficiently.

9/ Evacuation. If a server is exploited in any way, all personnel of the Dominion are to immediately leave the server; no questions asked.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[Section Four – Promotion Guide]

Within the Dominion getting a higher status is everyone's personal target. We, as Arvons, do this by supporting one another in order to achieve the goal. In order to go through the ranks of the Dominion, we require 2 key things. 1: Combat Recommendations, and 2: Leadership Recommendations.

These recommendations are submitted by the accompanied CO, and placed into a separate database. Achieving your first Combat Recommendation will have you put on the database.

For the first 3 ranks, Leadership Recommendations are not required, so the guide will come to that later.

Combat Recommendations are obtained by being successful during a Military Operation. For example you can receive a recommendation for getting a good KDR, this always would have to be positive, successful completing a raid, successfully defending a raid and so on and so forth.

In order to get the next rank after Mercenary, Guardsman, you need to have of obtained 6 Combat recommendations.

In order to get the Marine rank, you need to have of obtained 12 Combat recommendations.

And in order to get the Devastator rank, you need to have of obtained 18 Combat recommendations.

After the Devastator rank, you need to start achieving Leadership recommendations, as well as Combat recommendations.

Leadership recommendations are handed out for reasons such as, conducting a successful raid (Conducting is different to fighting in, conducting means you led the raid.), conducting a successful raids where your comrades have received very little deaths, having a successful training also counts, for the ranks that are unable to shout, having a passion for politics or military tactics can get you these Leadership recommendations.

For Vanguard, you require 24 Combat Recommendations and 3 Leadership recommendations.

For Champion you require, 30 Combat Recommendations and 10 Leadership recommendations.

Once you are at a point where you can achieve the rank of Commissar, you are required to have of achieved 40 Combat Recommendations, 20 Leadership Recommendations and a test which is conducted. Failing that test will keep you at Champion, regardless of whether or not you have the correct amount of Recommendations.

Commandant, you require 50 Combat Recommendations and 30 Leadership recommendations.

The ranks: Marshal, Warmaster and Sovereign are not obtainable by recommendations. The Marshal rank is hand selected by the Warmaster and the Sovereign. The Warmaster rank is picked by the Sovereign, and no one other than the current Sovereign will receive said rank.
