So, this is really annoying; whenever I try to join a game or attempt to join a server the player doesn't stop loading and/or 'updating'. I've re-installed roblox, tried launching it from cmd prompt, used a different browser, tried using studio AND cleared my history/cookies. I've had this for over a week and I'm pretty sure other people have this problem. Does anyone have any solutions? This is getting really annoying, I have groups I need to tend to! |

it wasn't the player he said try this
start > computer > downloads > right click roblox player > delete > remove from recycle bin > then try. |

| Windows XP is no longer supported by microsoft. For security reasons, I suggest you update. Or get a mac. Anyhow, since its XP there isnt much I can think of. Seriously tho. You have a huge risk of getting a virus. I recommend you update to 7 or 8 |

| My grandparents have Windows XP. Roblox does the same thing on their computer. Update to 7 or 8. You'll get a ton of EPIC stuff if you do! :D |

| Don't worry. I've had the exact same for the same amount of time. It's just a messed up update from roblox. They should know about it soon. |

| It may occur to most people that disabling or removing AdBlock may not solve this issue. I'm sure this is not client-side, so we may have to wait until we are notified of the issue from the admins, or just wait until they resolve it. |

Mine just went away naturally. But then again I have Windows 7, and you have XP so what I'm saying is practically boochit.

| The solution for most roblox related problems not being able to join games I use this method when roblox has that downloading issue where it says that robloxplayerlauncher breaks or something lol so it might work for this. Ok so you have to uninstall robloxstudio and robloxplayerbeta from add/remove programs BUT! you must shutdown your computer after that then turn it back on < if you don't do that THEN IT WILL NOT WORK. I don't know why but it just won't if you don't restart your computer. After that install roblox again and your problem should be fixed :) If the problem still isn't fixed then redo all that stuff ^ but when you reinstall robox close all other programs when its installing. If the problem is still there after that then try emailing roblox about the problem. I hope this helped :D |

That's not going to work, I have already tried that. I have removed every trace of Roblox from my computer, removed all data from my browser, rebooted my computer, and reinstalled Roblox. After doing all of that, the same problem occurred, so I suggest no one else do what I did because it is a complete waste of time.
Everyone just wait until we are notified by the admins about this issue. |
