on things he's said
“The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”
"The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”
“I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”
“The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”
I know this is a bit ermm, stereotyping and following conspiracy's but Obama is sorta shady if you ask me. I have nothing against Islamic people but doesn't obama say he's christian? |

I'm against Obama, and that's ironic, considering I'm not a pure Republican.(Conservative =/= Republican) Neither side is 100% correct. I guess I'm a mixture of an Isolationist, and an Independent.

1. Why does his religion matter? That's right it doesn't
2. What do four quotes about Islam have anything to do with him being Christian
If I stated three opinions about the Jews in Israel and one quote from the Torah will people start to question my religion? |

"Why does his religion matter?" Religion is the number 1 thing that divides people. And constantly praising Islam and even quoting its book is going to draw suspicion for a man of his power.
Stop being so arrogant.

_________________________________________________________________________________ Actually, no religion is obviously not the number one thing that divides people. If that were true, Mitt Romney, a mormon would have never almost been elected president. And he's not "praising Islam." He's trying to heal tensions in the Middle East caused by former offices and appeal to that demographic so they support him in office, just like he does with minorities, and women.
Stop being ignorant. |

| One of the main reasons I hate Obama is how acts acts with Israel. Mitt Romney made a good point, Obama didn't visit Israel till his 2nd term. He visited every other country but Israel. Israel is our greatest or is one of our greatest allies. Even beside that Obama seems pretty shady to me. |

People don't see Romney as a Mormon, they simply see him as a Christian. And you're VERY NAIVE if you don't believe that religion is what mainly divides people. Its been dividing people since the dawn of mankind all across the globe.
BTW, did you know a few years ago Obama was considering allowing a mosque to be built on the 9/11 site? Do your research, and Islam means to 'submit', and the goal of the religion is to conquer every country around the world in the name of 'Allah'. Once they've 'conquered', they build a mosque their to symbolize it.

And Israel is far from our greatest ally. The only reason they're our allies in the first place is so we could stop the spread of Communism. Israel was the only truly democratic nation in it's region that was pro-west and at the time seemed to be the only supporter of American policy. While there are democracies in the region, few of them are transparent and much of the anti-western ideology is pervasive.
I wouldn't call them our "greatest ally" though |

Let me guess, you only follow biased, main-stream media and never heard of this? IDK, maybe you did hear of this, but if not, you really need to start paying attention.

Or maybe you should stop with your conspiracy theories and ignorance, and actually study a culture different to your own instead of slandering them |

This has nothing to do with conspiracy and is the opposite of ignorance. Of course most Muslims do NOT believe this, but the powerful ones who are the current FACE of the religion DO.
Instead of just listening to CNN, go do some research. |

I studied Islam for 6 months in detail. I know what I'm talking about. You don't. What you're talking about is the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims and you still have no clue what you're talking about. And by the way, I don't watch CNN.
You're like what, 14? How about you actually learn something instead of believing every conspiracy theory you see on the internet. |

I've studied Islam for 2 years, and my dad studied it for over 30. And I do know about Sunnis and Shias. And when you say "study" does that mean the propaganda they teach you in school in an attempt to try to get Islam to be accepted by westerners?
Also, resorting to hyperbole because you're faced with a legitimate argument is not typically the way those on the correct side of an argument argue. Nevertheless, clearly you can't be convinced of the truth, so there's really no point in arguing here. This is for sports anyways, and I know I've gotten into the habit off getting off-topic. So I'll just stop posting on this.

| You just contradicted yourself. It's extremely hypocritical to call that propaganda when you believe in a more extreme form of propaganda yourself. |
