A fantasy roleplay my second one after the idiot tim mass reported my other one, if he tries to do the same again I can always get the info back and make another one because this time I will have saved it to my laptop. So I can now fix my typos and add new information. I'm using some of the same kingdom-names but I can't remember them now because of that idiot tim.
Lore The Known world is known as Anthir, and was created over three hundred thousand years ago when the personalisations of the Light and the Dark came together and formed what is now known as Magic, also known as the Gift. Thost born with the gift are known as Wizards, Witches, Mages, Sorcerers or Wielders. Most wizards are taught at the Seldorian Institute for Magic, which is also home to the headquarters of the Wizard's Council, the governing body of all wizards and magic-users on the continent.
The Continent _____________________ Although its name is officially unknown the Continent has existed for over three thousand years and is split into three different kingdoms. Each of which have different climates, races, cities, and cultures. These kingdoms are:
Estoria The largest of the six Kingdoms, known locally and commonly as the green kingdom because of its rich harvests, and green hills and woodlands. To the west of Estoria lies the independent city-state of Seldor home to the Wizard Council and it is also the largest city on the Continent. It is also home to the Thieves guild and the Assasin's College, which is where all master assasins were taught as apprentices.
Zelathar The northernmost kingdom on the Continent, home to snow elves, and the men commonly known as Northmen, or in some cases Northern idiots because of the place where they live. While being the coldest of the kingdoms, it is also the most sparsely populated of all six countries. It is home to various mountain ranges most of which house cities and towns.
Desertstar The Kingdom of Desertstar is the southerly most nation on the continent and home to the Sand Elves, and the desert-folk it is a large kingdom completely covered, in desert and jungles. Its known for its blisteringly hot weather and its species of cow the sand cow.
The Marshlands Officially known as The Kingdom of the Marsh, the marshlands are home to ruthless, pirates, criminals, murderers, and thieves it is the most crime-ridden country on the entire continent. Its also known for banshees, who wail and according to popular belief, when you see a banshee by a river, or body of water washing a shroud it means death is near. If the shroud is bloody it means you shall die a violent death.
Moonwood The Kingdom of Moonwood, is home to both the Moon elves, and the wood elves, both of which live in peace with eachother. They rarely intervene in mortal affairs and prefer to keep to themselves. Wood elves, while primative are known for their prowess with weaponry, paticularly bows.
Enthar This kingdom is walled off from the rest, because over two millenia's ago the king was at war with all other nations and decided he needed more protection for his realm. And thus he empties his coffers and built a gigantic wall around the entire border of his kingdom, providing protection for centuries to come. It is also believed that wizard's were also involved in its making, weaving webs of incantations around its ancient stone.
Races ________________
Moon Elves/Wood Elves The Moon elves live in peace with their king, the wood elves they each live in the kingdom of Moonwood. Both of the races worship a deity known as The Goddess. Who represents the moon, as being female. Both races tend to live in the tree-tops of the wood-cities and live in peace from the rest of civilization.
Snow Elves Snow Elves, live alongside the men of the north while both living in peace, in the past they have had various wars and battles of dominance, in which it always ended in a stalemate. Snow Elves favour wisdom, and logic over the battle-driven Northmen.
Light Elves Known as High Elves to mortal men, the Light Elves are typically fair-skinned and blonde. They live in the great elven cities of the west. Light Elves and Dark Elves, while not paticularly enemies, were once rivals because of their different natures.
Dark Elves/Sand Elves Both Sand and Dark Elves, inhabit the southern deserts of the continent, and both like the moon, and wood elves worship the Goddess. The Dark Elves were once rivals of the Light Elves, and now they live in a slight form of peace. The Sand Elves, live in the great sand cities of the desert, and fish for the creatures that live beneath the sandy-waves.
Orcs While technically elves, orcs aren't considered to be elven by men, or even elves themselves. Orcs were once elves but they were tainted, and corrupted by the dark powers. And now they are green-skinned. Orcs are one of the fiercest creatures to do battle with, no matter the weapon in most cases they can destroy a man.
Creatures/Beings
The Fiend
Also known as Old Nick, The Father of Lies, and The Dark One, the fiend is the embodiment of evil. He is the dark personified, as if an extension of darkness he causes those who look upon him to drop dead from fright. He has been chained in silver for the last millennia and seeks to claim the world for himself, by covering it in a second darkness. He typically breeds with females to create Fiendlings, children of the fiend.
Fiendlings Proportedly known as Children of the Fiend, the Fiendlings are in most cases Abhuman. Which means that they are larger than the tallest man, and have twice his strength. In other cases they are powerful wielders of magic, capable of completing any feat. In one case, a child was a perfect baby boy, in which the fiend came and ripped out his throat in an instant.
Dark-Beings
The dark beings were once good spirits, of elven-kind corrupted and maimed by the dark whispers. The dark-beings tend to appear as a floating mass of black, or a shadow that chokes the very air you breath.
Demons Demons are malevolent beings that inhabit the Underrealm, they are twisted beings of unknown power. Not much is known about them apart from the fact they can be summoned by conjurers, or necromancers. Though usually those who summon them are proven to have been naive because in most cases Demons can make quick-work of them. Slaughtering them in seconds.
Ghosts Sometimes, ghosts are spirits trapped or tormented on this plane of existence. In most cases, they do not know they are dead and cannot pass to the afterlife. Ghosts that choose to manifest themselves as their former selves are known to be typically strong. Evil or cruel ghosts are known as poltergeists.
Boggarts Boggarts, are split into sub-catergories and are a typical nuisance for many of the populace.
Types of Boggarts:
Hall-Knockers These boggarts tend to smash plates, make noise, and slam pots and pants around a house. They typically don't harm people unless a pan goes array, and hits somebody.
Domestic Boggarts On occasion a boggart can be tamed, and used to cook, clean and protect your home. When used to protect a boggart is a worthy adversary for anybody. Though when outnumbered it is considerably difficult for it to defeat its enemies.
Stone-Chuckers These Boggarts are known because they throw rocks, stones, and pretty much anything else at the people who have awakened them from their slumber. While not always dangerous Stone-Chuckers can on occasion kill a person with a rock or stone.
Mythical Creatures
Dragons Dragons once ruled the earth and now they are near-extinct creatures who mostly live in the mountains away from those who can harm them, though whoever comes close to a dragon usually ends up burned-alive.
Unicorns Unicorns are coveted by many evil creatures, because they are the symbol of pure and natural magic, Unicorn horns are sought by almost any dark magic-user. For whoever posesses a horn of a unicorn would certainly be a force to be reckoned with.
Giants While not paticularly 'Giant' giants tend to be a lot bigger than the average tall man, and they tend to live toward the mountains or in thick woodland tending to animals. Giants are excellent animal-herders.
Magical Creatures
Fairies Fairies are the most mischieveous of all beings and use natural magic, of flowers and air. And they are coveted for their wings. Fairie's wings are used in various potions and spells, because of the power they give to the spell or potion.
Pixies Typically smaller than fairies, pixies are yet again mischevious with a generally weaker version of fairy magic. They too practise natural magic, of flowers, nature, and air.
Gnomes Gnomes are small beings who are around the same height as a dwarf, only gnomes live longer. While dwarves live to a typical two hundred and fifty yeards, gnomes live for around a thousand years. When a gnome dies he decides whether or not he wishes for his body to be turned to stone, as an ornament, or a statuette. His soul returns to the afterlife, while his body remains in an immobile state.
Undead The undead, known as rotters and various other names are the deceased who are summoned by necromantic rituals to carry out the bidding of the necromancer who summoned them. Undead tend to be soul-less with no will of their own with their souls and personalities having gone with them to the afterlife.
Trolls Trolls are large hostile creatures hated by nearly all races of the world. Trolls however cannot move in sunlight they both fear, and despise the sun for it turns them into stone for eternity.
Anthropomorphic Animals Anthropomorphic animals, are animals that look typical, but speak and take on the characteristics of a human being. Examples of these animals are: Talking Rabbits, Horses, Unicorns, Dogs, Mice, Rats, Pigs, Goats, Cows, and even birds. Some of these animals are descendants of animals that were an experiment of wizards from thousands of years ago and left them with the abillity to speak for as long as they, and their descendants live.
Classes
Wizard
Wizards tend to have an innate abillity to use magic, and are usually apprenticed by birth to the local wizard or magic-user, girls to witches, and boys to wizards or warlocks. Other wizards are sent to the Academy and are taught all about magic there.
Thief
Theieves are most common in Seldor and the Marshlands than in any other place on the continent. They could pickpocket a man without even moving a single finger. They specialize in stealth and sneaking.
Assasin
While technically legal assasination, in some cases is an artform to be perfected with each and every kill. Most assasins are legally obliged to kill those they are contracted to murder, which is typically political leaders, or rebel-leaders.
Maurauder
Maurauders are like adventurers only a lot more prone to violence. They explore ruinious caverns, and dungeons and in most cases come to an untimely but long-expected demise.
Explorer
Explorers, are adventurers who explore fascinating areas of the world, discovering new things, rescuing damsels in distress, the usual cliche exploring hero.
Warrior
Warriors are fighters who are sent to the Warrior's School in Zelathar or are usually hired into the town guard of their local town. In some cases they go to an army recruiting fortress and join a leigon of the army of the kingdom they live in or visit.
Pirate
Pirates are more common in the Marshland than in any other nation, they are known as bucaneers and cut-throats. And are despised and feared by the population of the Marshes, they typically disgruntle the population and kill anything in their path. They steal, pillage and murder, and pretty much have a disregard for others.
Noble
High-born, the nobles are born with blue-blood and are typically known as snobbish ponces by the lower class of the continent. They are typically born into wealthy families, who have many thumbs in many pies and are typically very connected and have a lot of influence.

Name:Nyko Norrika Age:23 Race:Blegh, you didn't put into detail the characteristics of the races.. I'm gonna take a guess moon elves are the sneaky type? So Moon Elf it is. Origin:Moonwood, but is now in Estoria Specialization:Stealth/Quick Endings. Class:Assassin. Homeplace:Isnt this the same as origin? Allignment:(Guessing your using D&D) Chaotic Good Weapons:A katana like shortsword, the shortsword is made out of a combination between silver and iron. The next weapon he has is his dagger, his dagger is a bit longer than a normal dagger, the blade is rough and jagged, almost like someone put a sharp rock on here. The blade itself is the color black. His 3rd weapon is his crossbow, he uses an array of poisons with it. Appearance:Dark red hair, his hair is wavy and long, down to his neck. He has a pale olive skin tone, his skin has a few moles, but it is otherwise flawless, he is kinda slim, but not very. And he is a bit taller then the average person. Clothing: Ordinary- Usually a dark blue or brown shirt, with some leggings, usually tan.
His 'Job'- A black long sleeved shirt, with the same shade of color pants. He has a black mask on his mouth to, his clothing is very loose and comfortable not to limit his movement. He has slight leather under his shirt, and a cloak over it all.

@ k3rl accepted I think Homeplace either means where you were born or where you live. Allignment means good, evil, neutral. I put some characteristics, the Moon elves are mostly the same as wood elves only they have darker skin and shorter ears. And tend to have the same colour as the moon.

(Sorry in advance for in being so short, I'm on mobile right now) Name: Alexandra 'Alex' Matsumoto Age: 19 Race: Wood Elf Origin: Estoria Specialization: Elemental Magic Class: Witch Homeplace: Estoria, specifically Seldor Allignment: Neutral Weapons: Two seemingly harmless sticks that extend into staffs. If her magic won't work, then she'll settle for this method. Appearance: She has fair skin, green eyes, and brown hair that goes an inch or two past her shoulders. She's a little shorty at 5'3/160 cm. Clothing: She dresses in her white, button down shirt with long sleeves rolled up to her elbows that she leaves untucked, her favorite long black pants (they don't restrict her movement), and whatever shoes she can find. She doesn't have much of a variety of clothes, so she settles for this most of the time. She has a few other shirts like her white one, but they're colored differently and she only uses them for special occasions. |
