I've been on Roblox for awhile now but only now have I considered getting serious with Roblox Studio. I have some past programming experience, more particularly in Python(another programming language similar to lua). Im not sure if this is the correct forum or not but here goes.
1)Does not having BuildersClub a big disadvantage to game creators? And why?
2)Any ideas for a game that I could make? I don't want anything too big such as DayZ. But I do want something that I could eventually branch out (redevelop it)into a bigger game. So basically an idea where I could build up on.
3)What is trending now? I seem to find that there are many games now inspired by Gmod(murder, hidden, prop hunt).
4)Lastly, if you could give me any good tips on developing a game, what would they be?
lol I might be a little demanding but im just curious as I would like to get creating as soon as possible.

Builders Club doesn't really matter. You can still build just as brilliant games without builders club.
2. No ideas really, I wouldn't suggest using coding you're making now later in the future, you will most likely want to redo this coding later, since you don't like how you did the coding.
3. Last time i checked, fps games were the most popular
4. Be organized in your coding, and in the creation of your place. If you are dis-organized it will make developing your game further a lot harder.

| the only thing that significantly can cause you trouble by not having BC is that Roblox won't let you publish your own animations. However there are ways to get round it by animating with cframe and welds |
