All I have to say on the matter is this;
Miracle:surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.
I believe in god, though many things in the bible are false. Sadly no one was handed a billion copies of guide written by god. |

Religion is for those without an explanation for why things happen.

I'm pretty sure U.S. public schooling teaches about evolution and the big bang theory in the 6-8th grade, so no. |

i don't like arguing about religion in general - it's more like what's the point with me? we're all so firm about our beliefs that they wouldn't change no matter what anyone can say. i can't convert a christian to atheism and vise-versa
religious arguments are so pointless |

all i have to say on this topic is that calling greek mythology a myth when it reflects a lot of aspects of modern religion is sort of shady.
what makes your religion make more sense than all the ones before? why is it that we praise a man that claimed to be the son of god, is that not pride (which is a sin in religion) |

@Imp
The Greeks believed in multiple gods for a reason, they also believed in half man half gods that they considered heroes of Greeks/their own culture. But some of the Greek mythes are just tales for Greeks to represent their own unique culture. For all we know their gods could of actually been angels, if what the greeks say is true. And Zeus could really be god. |

| I got stuck in a 10 minute conversation with a preacher asking if I had a PhD and stuff, I decided from that day on the flying spaghetti monster is the way forwards. |

I haven't been taught about Hercules, but I from what I remember is that he was some gladiator slave for Rome and he lead a rebellion or something like that, so I'm not sure.
@divine
I quoted myself, maybe you would of known that if you read what I had to say in the first place :) |

Yes that is possible. Having faith in god is an obstacle itself. |
