1. Sure, it says they use Newb, but either way, they say you can use Noob anyway.
Wikipedia Information About The Word Noob:
Newbie, newb, noob, or Chobo, the opposite of Gosu is a slang term for a novice or newcomer, or somebody inexperienced in any profession or activity. Contemporary use can particularly refer to a beginner or new user of computers, often concerning Internet activity, such as online gaming[1] or Linux use.[2][3] It can have derogatory connotations, but is also often used for descriptive purposes only, without a value judgment.
The term's origin is uncertain. Earliest uses probably date to late twentieth century U.S. military jargon, though possible precursor terms are much earlier. Variant forms of the noun include newby and newbee, while the related term noob (often spelt n00b) is often used in online gaming.
In the 1960s–1970s the term "newbie" had a limited usage among U.S. troops in the Vietnam War as a slang term for a new man in a unit. Its earliest known usage on the Internet may have been on the Usenet newsgroup talk.bizarre. The term is believed to have entered online usage by 1981.
Coming from an oral tradition, the term has variant spellings. Among alternative forms are newby, nubie, and "newbee" (e.g. Los Angeles Times of August 1985: "It had to do with newbees. I could be wrong on the spelling, but newbees are the rookies among the Blue Angels...").
Two related terms are "newb", a beginner who is willing to learn; and "noob" (often spelt "n00b", "nuub" or "nub"), a derogatory name for an inexperienced or under-talented hacker or gamer, who lacks the determination to learn. "noob" was among candidates for the one-millionth English word selection by the Global Language Monitor.[10][11]
So, yeah, noob is a word. Noobs.

That's like saying Abraham Lincoln is a word because he's in Wikipedia.

Yes, this is VERY important In all regards, this paragraph was so important it made me reminisce a couple of things. It was that important. This paragraph or bit of information was absolutely important to get a meaningless point out that was irrelevant and wasn't even mentioned on RT anyway.

@Rip I don't know if your making a offense against me, but I do believe in Wikipedia. If you don't believe me, you could actually spend most of your lifetime studying the word "Newbie, newb, noob, or Chobo" to figure out if the words are actually real. So, go ahead, spend most of your lifetime trying to figure out if a word used in online gaming is actually a real word.

@Larney
I'm just empathizing the word in Wikipedia. I'm not empathizing the other things, such as the president you just told about.

@Great I can edit Wikipedia right now. Not everything on it is 100 percent reliable.
But I'd say a close 80 percent of the sources are reliable on there. |

Noob is just slang for newbie. It is NOT a word itself.

| @Larney I suppose it could be used as slang. At least we could actually use it while people can understand the true meaning. |
