Tiled resources.
What is it? tbh all I could understand is that it is an alt to Anistropic/bilinear textures

Oh and it is a windows exclusive.
Maybe microsoft is insuring their dominance over Steam OS? |

No. Anistropic and bilinear is a method of filtering textures. Tiled resources is a way of mipmapping, which is loading different LODs for textures, to reduce how much memory is used. Tiled resources isn't really anything new, but I think it's a far more subtle form of mipmapping.
