This year a lot of ROBLOXians were not so pleased with the Egg Hunt. I for one was pleased with it, but I think next year we should switch it up a bit.
How about instead of having an admin-made egg hunt map, ROBLOX holds a BIG contest. Every robloxian is allowed to enter. Here's how it would work:
ROBLOXians will create their own map, world, etc. Then they would enter it in the contest. The maps, world, etc. needs to include a minimum of "x" eggs. Once the map is entered in the contest, there will be a new tab under "More" that says:
"ROBLOX Egg Hunt 2015 Contest"
If you click that tab, it shows you all the user-created maps, worlds, etc. Any ROBLOXian is able to visit ANY egg hunt they see in the list. When they are done, they can decide if they would like to cast a vote for it to be the next egg hunt map.
Whatever egg hunt ends up with the most votes at the end of the contest will be the creator of ROBLOX's Egg Hunt 2015
The deadlines, and the hat/gear/etc will be up to the creator and admins. The users will have from the time the 2014 egg hunt ends, until the next egg hunt starts to put in their contest entry.
"Support" = This is a great idea! "No Support" = This idea is not so good.
If you see any loopholes in this suggestion, please feel free to tell me. Also, if you have any suggestions or criticisms please tell me those as well.

I can add that to a list of rules, that is a very good point. There should be some restrictions and requirements needed for each map. This was just a starting idea. Thank you for telling me that. |

Honestly though.
If a team of Devs can't make a working egg hunt
What makes you think one good builder or scripters gonna be able to handle it? It wont solve any problems, there will still be complaints and "wurst 1 ever" 's. |

Admins and Devs probably whipped this egg hunt together in maybe 2-3 months. For this contest, we are talking a whole year to complete it. |

That is also another variable that should be added to the restrictions/requirements list. I am probably going to make a mega thread about this in a bit. Keep the suggestions coming, they are really helping me out.

Support, they should stick to one singular map for the next egg hunt, and not the whole complicated universe stuff.

Yes, I agree. Not only does the universe edition lag for some users, it is also one of the MAJOR reasons why there is this huge delay with THIS year's egg hunt. |

True, but users could make a game with 50K+ bricks but hide a larger amount of eggs within the same map with a more complex method/spot to get it from. |

| Maybe a user could make 1 map, and than others can make eggs for it. The only downside is that they'll only be retextures. |

Yes, that could be ONE way to do it, that is why there can be a group of up to 1-4 users to create one map w/ eggs. And instead of having just retextures. We could somehow send the map into the admins, and have them turn into hats, gear, etc.
I'm not really sure HOW that would work, but I think it could. |
