You are a god, and recently you've created the "Big Bang", an explosion containing all forms of matter, elements, etc.. In one nanosecond, billions of galaxies, stars, and other celestial bodies form. Asteroids are colliding to form planets and solar systems are forming all because of your simple doings.

What do you do? |

| I fly through out space, searching for that particular solar system to populate into something a little more interesting. I'll start out small, perhaps just a small planet? |

| All systems are still forming. At best, you find a Mercury-sized planet, with extremely high mountains, tons of lava, and no life at all... yet. |

Nice.
I'll make large, featherless birds, which are unaffected by the warmth and eat lava to survive. They are also made out of molten rock, as well, and are powered by their rage against everything ever. They are also sentient.
I'll make tiny dragons, that are able to fly and release their song into the non-existent air
I'll also make fire-proof trees that survive on lava as well. I've decided everything on this planet will survive on lava. Lava is love. Lava is life.
But first, I'll make an atmosphere, if there isn't already. Something breathable by the inhabitants there. |

| Strange, purplish grass that grows in cold molten rock sprouts up, creating an atmosphere. The tiny dragons and the featherless birds are commonly quarrelling, the tiny dragons usually coming out successful, making the birds endangered. |

The featherless birds suddenly grow feathers, and now have the ability to fly to distances.
I'll make various of other plants as well, such as flowers, bushes with berries in them, and carnivorous ones with mouths.
I'll also make several larger ants as well. |

| The birds now have a few advantages. They easily devour the ants and planets besides the carnivorous ones, and whenever they're attacked by dragons, they fly to a safe place. The dragons spend most of their time now eating plants, specifically the carnivorous ones. |

I then make several lava oceans, separating the landmass into 5 sections, locked in by deep pools of that sweet hot liquid. I'll then make an odd creature with 2 feet, like a bird but without wings, and with arms instead. These arms will be used for other things other than hunting for meat, because they will be herbivorous.
These birds eventually separate into subsections: the ducks, the parrots, the pigeons, the hawks, and the songbirds. The isolation will make them differ over time. |

| The herbivores are hunted by many of the hawks. The ducks, parrots, pigeons and songbirds live in fear of the dragons, up until one fateful day. A meteor is headed straight towards the planet. It smacks straight into the middle, wiping out tons of species and cooling the planet down. It's now mostly rocky, with very small specks of lava. There are barely any grasses or plantlife any more. |

| Let's add water to it. Enough so it reaches to the fill line where the lava reached. I'll focus on landscaping, adding forests and trees, some which bear fruit. Ones to cover the remnants of the past. |

| All of the above has been added, however, with the remaining species [dragons, large duck-like creatures] things have been hard. Dragons have no place to live, now, and are dying out, while the duck-like birds cannot find any food. |

I said "most", not all. The toughest of the species, the dragons, stayed, while ducks just had pure luck. There are only around a few dozen of each now, though.
---
With the landscape going back to normal, the ducks are hunted to extinction, and dragons become the master race. However dragons vary in size and shape; some with no wings, some with feathered wings, some with eight wings, and some tinier than a hummingbird. Some dragons are even learning to walk upright... |

Let's make another race, perhaps larger and taller ones with two feet/arms with the ability to produce poison from their fingers, and perhaps use tools as well. These creatures will use water in place of lava, and will not have wings either.
I'll make a bunch of clay houses as well. They're just hollow squares with a hole for a door, but these living beings will be better architects than I will. |

Could you explain these poison-species a bit more? The poison-humanoids enter the clay houses and gain enough intelligence to create tools. With this, they mimic your creations, making a large village of giant clay-boxes. |

They have a rather pale-purple, scaly skin all around their bodies. They don't have any fur, nor feather, except on their arms, which is absolutely covered through the elbow and wrist. Their faces look to be almost human except with extremely long and pointy noses mimicking the former birds of their time. Eyes are wide, and appear almost wholly black, though it's just because their pupils absolutely huge, so these creatures are also rather sensitive to the light. They have a slouching posture, and their teeth are a bit lacking, so they're herbivores as well. They'll only need to kill for the hell of it.
They shall be called Prians. |

| Prians become the architects you want them to be. Now wrecking all previous "clay-birdhouses", they completely rebuilt them, now giving them more of an igloo shape, until... The dragons attacked. |

I go and make a 3rd race, one that is the appearance of human-sized parakeets with titanium beaks, huge wings, and an interesting singing voice. They are somewhat omnivorous, and are extremely fast. They mostly hunt in small packs.
I then make several cockroaches as well. They are normal sized, and by normal, I mean absolutely tiny. They're just there to annoy everyone else. |

The parakeets [name pls] fly around at jet speed and find some competition. The only species that could fly in this world was just dragons, so their territory became the sky, but now the parakeets have come. The dragons instinctively attack.
However, seeing as they can also defend themselves but not as greatly as the dragons, seven out of the two dozen parakeets were killed, while they got three dragons down. |
