First one to use an insult loses.
Flat out shows you're mad and are unable to defend your claim. |

Here's some golden rules of debate:
First one to say the opposition has lost... has lost. First one to copy and paste a dictionary definition has lost. First one to claim the other is a troll has lost. Saying something along the lines of, "I don't have to post a source, you have to google it," means you've lost. Bringing up fallacies that the opposition uses, such as ad hominem, means you've lost. See fallacist fallacy.

I wouldn't have to think about it due to that being basically impossible.
If you're mad and act on anger, you've lost the argument. You fail to act civil, or for you, evilkiller, not act like a butthurt 11 year old brat who cannot handle the slightest of opposition to your own opinion.
See that? See what I did there? |

| If you're mad, I think you've pretty much lost. Like I lose arguments a lot, and I can tell when I've lost them, but for egotistic reasons, I instigate such arguments. You know what? When I feel good and confident in an argument, I'm winning. If I have any negative emotions (e.g. sadness, anger) from the argument, I'm losing. That's just my mentality I guess. |

| Well, chances are, if you've got ten versus one, you're probably gonna lose. It's like a physical fight, almost. I doubt many people can down ten people by themselves in one big fight. |

| So putting in the occasional "idiot" or "moron" is reacting like a child? If anything, it should inform you that you're acting like an idiot or you're making a mockery of yourself. |

| Sometimes it's not acting like a child. But it almost always indicates anger. If you're angry, then yeah. You're pretty much done. |

| You're allowed to, just realize, that if you're angry, it means you're pretty much losing. Unless you're like 9000% insecure, yeah, you're losing. That's it. |

I re-iterate... If someone is disrespecting me and bashing my opinion, and I get angry about it, I automatically lose an argument because the other person is being overly dismissive and tried to take the easy way out? |

| Yeah, if you get angry because someone's arguing with you, it's basically a sign of defeat. Think of it. People who get angry at others arguing against them aren't holding to their own beliefs strongly enough. A truly confident man would be the one who's winning. |

Think of religious arguments... If someone is trying to argue about something you've believed in your entire life, you're bound to get angry, correct? But if you're still able to hold your argument and still throw in a few insults, what about that? |

| If you had bulletproof faith, you'd not be angered by a couple of arguments. I don't get irritated when people argue things to me in which I know, with absolute certainty, are wrong. If you're still making an argument and you make insults, then I'd pretty much guess you're mad. It's possible to insult others without losing, but it's nearly surefire in revealing negative emotions. |

"If someone is trying to argue about something you've believed in your entire life, you're bound to get angry, correct?"
No, not really. Some people are open to being questioned. I'd rather have a false belief proven false than continue believing it.
"But if you're still able to hold your argument and still throw in a few insults, what about that?"
You're still acting childish. You're not really holding your argument as you are flaming and trying to egg on the other person(s). Insults are never necessary and can be seen as a sign of incompetence and/or lack of intelligence to have something better to say. |

I'm afraid you are incorrect. Why don't you try to elaborate your claim, anyway.
Keep in mind, as I've said before, I don't use these as saying "I've won, you lost", just "you lost/ I'm not obliged to consider anything else you have to say". |
