There have been many attempts by people to get religion out of America like removing biblical quotes from monuments and other things like that, what is your opinion on the matter
Mods this is not a hate thread i just want to hear other people's thoughts on the topic. |

Separation of church and state. America was originally secular.
If anyone is too religious to handle that, they can get the heck out of my country. |

| If you'd prefer theocracy over secular democracy, feel free to leave the United States and move to Uganda or Saudi Arabia or wherever else. :) No one's stopping you. |

| Not everyone is faithful, remember that. And not only that but a lot of Americans don't share the same faith. How about some good ol' fashioned equality? Some religious freedom? I mean, I thought America was the land of the free. Let's ensure it is free instead of forcing Christianity on everyone. |

no one is suggesting that you put "god doesn't exist" on your money- or anything even remotely similar.
"in god we trust" wasn't the original motto of the USA- it was added in 1956. the same applies to your monetary system (1957). 2 years after it became the official motto, president eisenhower decided that it'd be a jolly good idea to add it into your pledge of allegiance.
my point is; having a motto and a pledge of allegiance that doesn't refer to everyone (not everyone is monotheistic, mind you)- is downright nonsensical.
separation of church and state is not- and never will be- considered synonymous with "removing religion from america". you're free to believe what you want- but this is nonsense. utter nonsense.

@evil
you didn't provide an argument- so what else is there to argue about? your inability to provide proper arguments eventually resulted in a meaningless insult. (i.e faithless dogs)
