| I'm just saying I find it difficult to believe you'll enjoy or understand the novel. |

From Wikipedia:
Examining the nature of law and grace, the novel elaborates upon the history of France, the architecture and urban design of Paris, politics, moral philosophy, antimonarchism, justice, religion, and the types and nature of romantic and familial love.
If you honestly say that you, an 11 year old can read, understand and appreciate that I'll call you out as a liar. But fine, what do you usually read? |

The Great Gatsby was by far one of the greatest classics I've ever read.
Then again, I haven't read too many yet. |

| Please briefly Summarize and explain the Great Gatsby or a tale of two cities. Reading something old in an attempt to look smarter is one thing, understanding and appreciating it is another. |

>My Dad said if I finish Les Miserables in a year- He'd pay me 100 bucks.
>Why exactly is an 11 year old reading Les Miserables?
When I was 11 I would have taken that deal whether I thought I would enjoy the book or not. 1 year to finish a 1000~ page book? Pssh, prepare the money for me. ;D |

| I was hoping for a written summary about either story and the underlying themes of one of them. Not a list of important events in the novel. |

Dr. Manette is rescued from imprisonment and death and healed by Lucie. Darnay is saved from death by Carton. Others are brought back from an apparent death, only to meet real death at the hands of the revolutionaries. The resurrected come together and hold the story together.
I have notes on this book, y'know. Quack quack |
