Austin, TX has the 47th largest US TV market in America and that's good enough proof to say not
This sucks. There will be a day this city's population gets in the top 10 in the USA in the next 5-10 years (it's already #11) and the metro area's population continues to grow near-exponentially.
I'm going to have to cheer for San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas teams for the rest of my life, QQ |

@Cheesey More than those that complain (which I really don't hate, they're mad, and they should vent it out), I hate those that say "KIDS IN AFRICA GOT NO RUNNING WATER AND NO SHELTER AND THEY ARE IN FAMINE BLAH BLAH BLAH".
okay, we get it. people in sub-saharan Africa have it harder than us. I've already done my share and donated $22 to people in Uganda as a project to build a clean water well.
Quit being all sarcastic, you really seem like a huge idiot. I'm sorry, wanna know why some people don't like you? This is a great "Exhibit A". |

| I'm pretty skeptical of how this TV market system works though. I mean, I understand how it's the number of TVs per household/per household per capita, and exposure to TV, etc. However, Waco/Temple/Killeen/Bryan/College Station has a larger TV market than El Paso by nearly 15 ranks. |

@pri You're...posting...too... Is this ironic or-
You're acting like an Internet badass by trying to call other people out on being "no-lives" when you're probably on here more than I am and "posting" more than I am, are you gonna stop or- |

this $22 came from my own pocket with my own earnings that wasn't from my parents doing chores or allowance or any of that crap. i was generous to take it out of my wallet and donate it for the school's african water well project |

@cheesey you think i can't imply what's coming next? lol (there's no other reason you'd post something like that, just saying, it's quite obvious you're attempting to play it off now) |

based on your most recent implication... hmmmm... you could say so!
>(there's no other reason you'd post something like that, just saying, it's quite obvious you're attempting to play it off now)
(actually there was, it was to emphasize how you're complaining about how your local giant ass city won't get a pro sports team so you'll have to resort to your other 3 local giant ass cities who do have them - wah wah such a hard life)

your point is NOT made actually,
in fact i believe i just completely disproved your point and made you look like a fool with your false implications and assumptions that were no where even CLOSE to what i was referring to

"wah wah such a hard life"
This is obvious sarcasm that conveys the fact that you're making an indirect implication (which is actually legitimate, and not false whatsoever) that you're irritated at what I had to vent about, so this results in you posting about something that one could imply that means "cool, stop complaining about your "hard life", homeless people on the streets" or "kids in the Congo have it harder" |

>"cool, stop complaining about your "hard life", homeless people on the streets" or "kids in the Congo have it harder"
no, it's not
it's simply stating:
"you have 3 other giant cities with pro sports teams in your own state, and you're complaining because one of the 4 giant cities can't have a pro sports team"
it has no direct correlation to kids in africa at all

Initially no one or few people could imply that's what you intended to say
And even with that intention, you wouldn't understand anything about Texas, its people, its size, or anything of that matter. It gets irritating when you have people cheering for Rangers or Astros; Spurs, Rockets, or Mavericks; Cowboys or Texans. The one team people in Texas can flipping come together on is the Stars, and not even everyone in the state even likes Dallas (Rune), so they won't cheer for the Stars.
I hate cheering for three Dallas teams, a Houston team, and a San Antonio team. It makes me feel awful (and people call me "bandwagoner" when these teams generally aren't good more often than not) when it's just teams I honestly like, and it's because I'm in the middle of all three places. |
