| Well, I'm a gamin fanatic. When there is a game I enjoy I play it to the very end. When I buy a new game I tend to play it till I was done and if the game had more to it to 100% it. I would do it just to get more experience out of the game. I also do it for the extra fun and challenge |

100%ing a game =/= playing it
and who pays 60$ for a game anyways? |

"Almost every gamer.."
forgive me for not mindlessly rushing to the nearest game store with drool dribbling down my chin when a new game is released
because i honestly do believe that making sure a game is good as well as waiting for a price drop is the wise thing to do
i know, it's madness |

| Well, you can just see a youtube video of said game and then see if its worth buying right away....wait for the price drop and pick it up later.... or not buy it at all. |

Not always 100%, but I do like to finish everything I possibly can. Some of the stuff I've liked best in games are the things you wouldn't get unless you were willing to be a completionist. Special weapons, armor, side quests. It's usually pretty fun. It's kind of rare when I don't bother, and that's when it's just a huge hassle.
Wild Arms 3's 100 floor secret dungeon with no saves? Did that in college. Took a whole day. But got a super cool summon in the game. But one of Xenosaga II's secret bosses? Pain in the butt in terms of items/equipment you needed, training needed. Just become not worth it. |

| Because people want to see everything the game has to offer? They're a completionist? It could be any number of things and you're going to get a lot of different answers. |
