I suggest that, in order to remove the number of speed-hackers, ROBLOX design ways around Cheat Engine as it is becoming more and more popular among ROBLOXians.
It could be as simple as just changing the way player data (speed, animations, etc.) on more complicated sections of the game.
I have used Cheat Engine before (Not on ROBLOX) and it IS possible to make it close to impossible for most people to use it to modify their stats, I have tried it on a few more popular games (I will not name them for copyright purposes) and quite a few of them have the stats stored on strange, complex webs of data that are hard to access.
Essentially, if you have ever seen one of my scripts, you will realize that it is a MASSIVE web of code designed to do a single function within many other functions (Basically if one string of code is missing, NOTHING will work).
It could be as simple as having a script that checks the players speed constantly to see if it is changed for a set amount of time and ban the player if their walkspeed is above normal for at least a minute (because when you hit bricks it sometimes speeds you up due to ROBLOX's gravity).
This is only a suggestion, and may not actually get implemented and you may never even see the results of this in person, but it CAN work if the time and effort are put it.
[Pending review by ROBLOX administration]

This wouldn't work if there was a class-based game where there are different walkspeeds for each class.

How about games with tools that modify walkspeed?

The "run" tool used in many games raises the walkspeed to 1.4 I think.

Developers need a tool to set the walkspeed of objects in Studio. Say my walkspeed was 16 and I changed it using CE to 25. The tool would recognise I changed it and crash my game.

@All Above
What I mean by my suggestion is that the developers would be able to set and change the max walkspeed, so that when it is breached it will ban, kick, or submit a report a log.
I also mentioned if their walkspeed is above a certain time (1 minute) to prove they are hacking, but the creator could set that max walkspeed. (I.E. The creator makes a run tool that increasing the default player speed to 50, or a higher number, so the creator would also increase the "maxspeed" to a higher value so it does not detect players using the run tool. The "maxspeed" could also be scripted to specifically ignore ROBLOX's gravity so the momentum from a player falling would not apply to the "maxspeed" and the player would face no benefits.) |

@Mark Speed hacking does not affect the walkspeed, it affects the FPS throttle. Roblox has already made a solution to speed hacking, proof--https://twitter.com/RbxDevTips/status/454842505381429248/photo/1
