| The Giver is so good! Did you see they're making a film? It doesn't look like it's going to be as good as the book? |

Emotions are for the weak.
(And the movie looks terrible.) |

My favourite characters die in almost every book I read but I only cry over some of them. The knife of never letting go Inkheart (twice) And the death cure. And if you have seen my "My favourite characters die in every book I read" post then you know how many booms that is... But only three made me cry... Four I guess if you count inkheart twice since it made me cry twice. |

| I was reading that book at Barnes & Noble. I'll have to finish it if it's as good as you say. I only got to chapter 2-3. |

I despised The Giver.
If that made you cry, have you read The Book Thief? |

| Lol. I can't imagine someone crying while reading a book. It seems like a funny thing to see. :P |

ugh I got forced by my friend to read 'the fault in our stars' and I couldn't get the depressing thoughts of it out of my head for days.
and attack on titan
those were the most depressing books.
and doesn't the main character die in allegiant or something? |

It's really hard to imagine John Green wrote The Fault in Our Stars when on his web show he's always so cheery and funny. liek the heck? |

Enlighten me, how do you ever so cry over words?

| Because the words are so masterfully written and create a mood in the story. |
