Kathryn Blanchard, which is you, walks slowly into her workplace; the CSI Department of California. As you enter through the door, you see that everyone is crowding around your desk. Quickly, you walk toward it.
"Wow! Why does she get this case, but not me?!" "Interesting case! But who knows if she can finish it correctly!" "Seems like a difficult case.. I bid her good luck."
As you arrive at your desk, everyone scatters, except for one; Paulina Pertamera, a good friend of yours. "Kathryn! Look at the case you received this morning!" She picks up the file and shoves it into your arms.
Your choice. What do you do now? |

Kathryn says nothing, simply sitting down in her seat. She starts reading the first paper in the file. |

[right? i thought of a random name.. and random letters.]
"Or.. don't say anything at all. Um, right.. I'll be going now. Good luck on your case, Kathryn!" Paulina says. Then, she walks away.
On the first page of the file lies a note. It says: Kathryn, just so you know, you're allowed to choose 2 people to come help you on this case, if you'd like. If not, go alone. Note ends. There wasn't any signature telling you who wrote it.
The Case: The victim is a male of 48 years of age. He had a pale complexion, straight light brown hair left uncut, and brown eyes. He is very tall, quite thin, and is dressed in overalls. He was found at 11:29 PM at a motel bathroom. Cause of death is unknown, meaning you must find out yourself. Currently, there is no possible suspects.
List of helpers:
Paulina Pertamera: She is a young woman, around her twenties, that has light brown hair that is placed all on her left side. Her eyes are a dark brown, which she calls black. Paulina specializes in gun shooting.
Henry Ugman: He is a male, recently turning thirty, that has spiked up hair that is a yellowish-blondeish color. His eyes are a brilliant green, which he calls very beautiful. Henry specializes in fighting.
Yazan Pillar: He is male, recently graduating college and hired for a job here, that has brown hair that is styled to the right. His eyes are black, which he says nothing about. Yazan specializes in clue finding.

Kathryn carefully reads the file. She decides not to have a partner since she works best alone.
Kathryn closes the file, standing up to talk to her boss about the location of the crime. |

| You go to your boss to ask for the location of the crime. "Hollywood." was all he said. |

| Kathryn was not satisfied with her answer. "Well, where in Hollywood? I'm not going to look all over for this crime scene," she said tersely. |

| "Hollywood is Hollywood. That's your answer. You're a detective, correct? You should know who to ask," he replied stubbornly. |

(wow terrible boss)
Kathryn sighed, knowing he wouldn't give the answer. "You know, it would be easier to tell someone the specific location in order for the crime to be solved faster. Who knows if the possible killer is murdering someone else, or perhaps already running away," she spat.
With that, Kathryn left to grab the file and leave for Hollywood. |

Kathryn looks at him before saying anything.
"Yes," she says, deciding to bring it along in case something happens. |

| After retrieving the pistol from the storage room, you leave your workplace. There was a car parked outside near the parking lot. That car is supposedly for you. |

Kathryn looks for the keys to start it.
[unless it already started, then]
Kathryn closes the door, heading to Hollywood. She mutters about the boss along the way. |

| Probably around an hour later, you arrive at Hollywood. It seems like nothing bad happened here, nothing seemed to look like a crime scene. |

There was one person right in front of the tape.
As you walk toward him, he said, "Leave. Or I'll arrest you." |

| "That is not a nice way to tell off tourists or citizens. It is even more disrespectful telling off a detective that way, don't you think?" Kathryn says. |
