The Final boss in Super Mario: Super Star Saga (GBA) Its a unique jrpg in where you press A or B buttons to make your attack stonger and dodge attacks
Oh lord.... that boss.... is B-U-L-L-C-R-A-P! The Bosses attack are insame to dodge and when you finally figure out how to dodge its attack.... the boss changes its strategy and screws you over... MULTIPLE TIMES! The bosses damage is INSANE. Just a couple hits and then.... DEAD! You are gonna need A LOT OF HEALTH SHROOMS! But thats not all.... The bosses health is ALMOST INIFINITE! The boss took like a freaking hour and a half to beat... oh yeah... and of you die... well... and get this.... YOU START THE THING ALL OVER AGAIN.... So pretty much waste more an a hour and a half. like 2 HOURS. So if you almost killed him... but then die... you have to start all over. It takes no skill.... Its awful. It will take a lot of dedication to beat it. Or save slots if you are a smartnub like me XD... but yeah...worst boss ever.
In the bright side... it has an epic soundtrack and when you beat it. The way it explodes is satisfying... |

Saren was pretty anti-climatic as far as the battle itself went (Mass Effect 1) the final boss of ME2 was much better |

i kinda want to say kalameet from dark souls, but really, he's an optional boss so it's not like it kills the game just because it's near impossible to solo him unless you are an absolute god at the game
so my vote goes to the battletron from world of warcraft, wowhead /npc=67424 . all you do is run circles around him, and it really is nothing but a hard dps check. it's not interesting like all the other brawler's guild bosses, it's as simple as, "if you can't deal 80k dps while moving, you lose". at least hexos is fun. |

that sounds awful unless you're a mage specced in instant-casts |

| generally, warriors, rogues, etc have it easy because they usually have instant abilities. the only mage spec that does even somewhat "okay" versus him is frost, but even then you can't spam frostbolt. warlocks have a bit more options (destruction does okay, same with affliction) but it's still a hard dps check no matter what. other classes have at least one melee or high-mobility class, shamans have enhancement, druids have feral, hunters have bm/survival, paladins have retribution. |

Off the top of my head, Dino-Bertram from Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse.
The difficulty spike in the game is like the graph of y=e^x, I swear. The final boss charges at you, fires lasers, and has dozens of minion Bertrams attack you. Haven't found a good strategy yet (on my own, that is. I could use GameFAQs, but that's not fun).

This is about the worst boss battles, not the hardest.
I'd say Giygas. While I love him as a character, his boss battle is mediocre at best. You have you pray to beat Giygas (Literally), and you get no tips off besides a very subtle one by Porky. Other than the Viper glitch, praying is the only way to kill Giygas, unless if you cheat and get damage over 20,000 damage, which is the requirement to kill him since he heals to full every turn, which can only legitimately be done by praying. This is problematic because the player without a guide won't catch on to this unless if they use the game guide. Even so, the way he dies is bad because it is such a strain on the eyes, watching him flash multiple colors with the horrendous "background music" for about 20 seconds with static. |

| Ok rockandroll... I dare you to play that game and attempt to beat the final boss. Mario games can get hard. |
