I would like to know... when building a map, where did you begin? Did you start with scripts and functional items, or did you begin with the structure of the game itself? |

Start With the maps and lobby and what not. Because you don't want to have to rewrite most of the script to accomadate all the new things. |

Start with the parts you're most excited about first. It'll keep you interested |

| What I do is build the ground of the game (like 20 x 20 studs long etc) then I will build on it. If I need to build small objects, I build them out of the map where I have more space to build. |

I always found building first then script is the best way to go. Some scripts can interfere with the build process ,and other scripts won't work without the parts it refers to. |

I always start with the part that I have the clearest image of in my head.
If it's a section of Building then I'll start with that, a block of code in a Script then I'll start with that.
After that I add onto whatever I started with and eventually I've got a working place. |

| I usually start with the building the things that need to be scripted, or are highly detailed, then move on to terrain at a later date. |
