Kinda odd to ask for an assembly tutorial on a forum for a game that heavily emphasizes on scripting

It's not odd at all. There are plenty of programmers here (or who used to be here) that have dabbled in ASM.
I don't know any ASM, nor any tutorials, but there probably aren't a lot of ASM tutorials aimed at intermediate-level programmers like us. Your best would probably be a look in the library-- I find that bookstores always have better selections than the internet. |

Send me a message, are you looking to make a potential operating system in Assembly?

You should read the book CODE by Charles Petzold. It will help you understand the underlying basics.

In addition to the resources the others have mentioned, The Art of Assembly, by Randall Hyde, is available for free online. You'll find it easily if you search for it. The book uses a hybrid-type assembly language to gently introduce the reader to new concepts, but you can disregard said features if you wish. The book contains plenty of detail, quite possibly more than you're looking for, and is a great read. My only complaint is that one can feel a little lost jumping from the HLA used in the book to "real world" projects.

Honestly, I just learned by reading SNES Assembly (on wikibooks), the ARM programming manual (I forget the name) and working on MikeOS.

Anyways, if you really are willing to do ASM. Search for flowchart tutorials first, and how to build an effective one.
