"But think about it. If Google made it, it would be instantly popular." I gave up on you at this point. |

| I think this could be a successful idea, I don't know if I would buy it but it could be successful. Although at this point I would just like google to provide my internet. Because neither TWC or ATT do that job as well as google would. |

"So you pretty much are still hoping for Android consoles to succeed?"
Android consoles won't succeed because you can actually bring tablets with you |

"Chrome OS is incredibly easy to develop for." That isn't always a good thing
"Chromebooks also have built-in Bluetooth controller support." Okay then
"I am working on a game" Suuuure
"But think about it. If Google made it, it would be instantly popular." Yes because everything Google does is instantly popular
"Also, it would boost the amount of Chrome OS apps made" That isn't always a good thing x2
"can't be hacked" It will if it gets popular
"But it would be a purely indie-led gaming console." if you want good indie get a PC
There happy with the critique? |

"How the hell is easy to develop for ever a BAD thing?!" people that shouldn't develop begin to develop. See OP for reference. |

LETS PLAY THE POINT OUT FLAWS GAME Easy to program doesn't equal good performance.
Bluetooth is a fairly outdated wireless system, and is overall quite poor.
Just because people know about it, doesn't make it popular. The console niche is filled.
The OS is bad to begin with, so why would people switch?
"Plus plus, Chrome OS is incredibly secure and can't be hacked. It's already a very solid system." BAAAAAAHAHAHA. CAN'T BE HACKED. GUYS. ARE YOU HEARING THIS?! CAN'T BE HACKED. Yes. It can. Don't kid yourself.
Indie gaming is led by PC. The ouya was a horrible console.
It wouldn't work, and google knows it.
Chromebooks are underpowered and not made for games. Their hardware is terrible and that is why they are so cheap. They would not be playing any high quality games at 1080p.
The concept won't work. |

ps4 and xbone already have their trains rolling, in todays market there is a very low chance for a new console making a statment
just develop for pc/linux/mac |

iirc the chrome store is open. A dev could easily slip a backdoor into his/her game. |
