| More specifically, how do I make the players character becomes something else (Like a ship, airplane, or spacecraft), and how do I create a editing menu that is like le bote. |

Unforunately, it's a school project. I'm learning C++, but I have a hard time learning LUA. My mantra is "Go big or get out".
Also, I'm reverse engineering as much scripters I can get. |

You can learn perfectly LUA here. Just make sure you build up small to big. Otherwise you will mess it up likely, or think very complicated about easy things.

I just need something to help me reverse engineer the others.
I learn through reverse engineering. First I read the code Second I comprehend the code and whats it talking about Third I test my own variant of the code Fourth I start using the functions and things in the code independently in my own scripts.
Previously, my rocket scripts had been reverse engineered (Courtesy of Aerideyn) allowing me to do many of the functions that is in that script.

It isn't hard at all, just look at the wiki.
You don't need to reverse engineer everything. |

Ok, thanks. Wiki bookmarked, and I've now managed to get a system like Le Bote going, minus the assets and upgrades and all that posh.
Will work on start GUI next.
