| It's not like there's anything that country can do if America decides to not pay debt to them |

"Three teams of economists have separately shown that high government debt has a negative effect on long-term economic growth. When government debt grows, private investment shrinks, lowering future growth and future wages. Estimates across advanced economies show that debt drag reaches large and statistically significant levels as debt grows, with the worst effects occurring after debt reaches 90 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). With U.S. federal, state, and local government debt at 84 percent of GDP and rising, policymakers should begin taking debt drag into account when considering new deficit spending." |

| Incorrect, they could launch all of their warheads to USA, even if they counter them, they'll still be gone. |

Implying we can't press more red buttons faster than them and that no one would attack them for using a nuke
Never tell me the odds |

@ty A random nuclear strike, out of no where, couldn't be countered by "pressing red buttons." If it were completely unexpected, USA might not even have time to react. And nuclear missles most likely aren't launched from red buttons, as it would take a while to aim them to their destination, then if there were, by some coincidence, some red button to fire them all, the nuclear missles from their enemies would have already gotten there. |

| Also, even if other nations would destroy them for what they did, they would be known as the country that took down the dominant super-power in the world. |

| They can't nuke America because of the M.A.D. law. If a country nukes another country then that country is allowed to nuke them back, then it creates a domino effect eventually leading to a nuclear war |

| That was my point in the first place... It would mean USA being destroyed either way. |
