but raising minimum wage would cause prices to go up and someone making a maybe, 40k income would be worse off
because they went to school, and actually worked for their job
someone that sat and did nothing, should not have to ruin the lives of someone who actually went to college
please, look deeper For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction |

Raising minimum wage is a bad thing. It will destroy the economy. Most people who make minimum wage are being supported by parents and are under 18. It would be a good thing to raise minimum wage but not for adults. If federal minimum wage is raised for everyone, many teens will be out of jobs because corporations cannot afford to pay teens 9-10 dollars an hour. So it's a yes, and a no. Higher minimum wage is a good thing, but it should not be heightened for people under 18. |

The truth is, raising minimum wage will make teenagers make more, and it will cause inflation. I myself, am a teenager, who will be making minimum wage soon, I don't want it to be raised for people my age, give the extra money to the people who need it to support themselves and families. |

Bieber, you are dumb, nearly ALL people making minimum wage don't live in poverty, why? BECAUSE THEY'RE UNDER 18 AND HAVE PARENTS!
The right thing to do, is raise the minimum wage for adults, so that they can support themselves.
Raising it for everyone WILL SCREW EVERYONE. At best, it would make no difference, if minimum wage goes up, cost of living goes up, ok?

if we raise it to 15 an hour my mom that makes 30 an hour will have her income cut so her 60k income would now be worth 30k
which we would be worse off |

"and someone making a maybe, 40k income would be worse off"
the lower going up and the higher going down brings both of them one step closer to the center
the center is equality a great thing if you aren't greedy or if you're not very rich, like me if i translate it into dollars, it's about 3k

it shouldn't be equal because someone worked hard to get that 40k income someone who makes a 18k income probably didn't work hard at all
please, learn |

raising minimum wage would raise the price of everything.
therefore, it's not benefiting them at all.
what's the point? |

if my mom quits her job to go to college or anywhere else to get education, there will be no working person in the family and it won't be good
