My suggestion goes like this. For accounts that belong to minors, a badge should be made entitled “Minor” For that user’s account, while an account belonging to users 18+ should have a badge entitled “Adult”.
How this can be done legitimately. Users with accounts who’s birthdays reveal them to be 18+ may be asked by the ROBLOX staff if they would like to provide confidential proof of age, and ownership of the account, so the staff have no doubt the user is indeed 18+ This would require by permission, for adult users to provide proof of identity beyond an email address. (Photo ID, or other. Even a phone conversation.) While any accounts unverified retain a “Minor” badge along with actual minor accounts. It would work much like an Admin badge verifies an account as belonging to an administrator of ROBLOX, only it has nothing to do with working for ROBLOX.
Pros: This allows kids to see the ratio of adult users on the site. This also implements a much more effective respect enforcement for the older users, who are often disrespected on this site by minors. It may increase security for minors in that because OD’ing is such a rampant issue, kids would think twice before trying to OD based on that aspect. It also allows for predatory behavior to significantly be reduced, as users who sign up, may be careful as to how they act.
Badge concept art: Adult would appear as an “A” with whatever background chosen, while Minor would appear as an “M” with whatever background is chosen.
Aim: Safety, respect, and better control of your site. |

No, this will just cause ROBLOX to decrease population. When parents see someone is an adult, they will tell their children ,"I swear if someone comes into our house while we sleep I am going to see you in helI." No support. |

The point is this, ROBLOX clearly states this site is for all ages. Kids, teens, and adults. If parents aren’t smart enough to do their homework, that’s their fault, not ours.

I'm not too sure, there are many pros and cons:
Pros: Parents can check up on who their children talk to, so that they aren't talking to someone they shouldn't be. People can find other people in the same age group as them.
Cons: Lying about age. Not directly visible unless you visit someone's profile.
There's probably plenty more pros and cons other people can think of, but I'll leave it there.

A friend of mine just gave me further advice. The adult, and minor badges should both be a requirement. Not allowed to sign up without verifying. Now, this is not unrealistic, since ROBLOX claims they are best at age verification. Now it’s time to live up to that, instead of it being a lie.

@Sponge, they could make it so it is something that appears near the username too. Like in game, my OBC badge would have a little A in the middle. (for NBC just an A or M.)

If you think adults would ever be respected on ROBLOX without being an admin, you need to take a more realistic view on life. If someone were to have this adult badge, they'd be made fun of for playing a kid's game until the sky falls due to their ranting.

@Don’t, You want a kids game? read the site description. “Users of ALL AGES” Kids games are actually sign up age restricted. YOU need to do your homework.

@Don’t, a pro to this, is that you would see the truth. There are far more 18+ users than you realize on this site. Smiley42, Social Anxiety, and many others.

@OP When did ROBLOX claim to be the best at "age verification?"

@Sponge, as part of being apart of the Trust-e foundation, when you sign up, it used to say by the trust-e logo, that they do age verification, and that’s why they are certified.

@OP But that doesn't mean they are the "best at age verification."

@sponge, when a site a Trust-E verified, it usually means they pass extensive requirements to be a safe site, one of which is listed as age verification. Only THE BEST safe sites have such verification. @luke, there is plenty need for this, even parents with common sense would want this.

No, it would make adults tease minors. Why? They think little kids are noobs.

@figgy, That’s unrealistic. An adult is far too mature to do that, and with this implemented, adults would behave better, and so would kids. If an adult account is modded for bullying, it would be a much harsher consequence, as adults are expected to be role models, not offenders.

This idea is bad. it would make adults fraud being admin with the A symbol, and would make the minors fraud Moderators.

I don't think this is really needed.
The current system is fine. If some little kid insults you, troll him until he rage-quits then move on.

I am also a 'known felon' by the moderation team with 10+ bans.
I also told roblox that I am 102 years old.
If this feature were to happen, Epicborn1337 wouldn't exist.

@for, invalid reply, as if you read closely, that would not happen. @Epic, no it wouldn’t. This is needed. @For, moderator badges are very specific. A minor badge, or adult badge would be labeled as just that. Bloxxer then badge above it. Minor, badge above it, Adult, badge above it. I ask that you all examine, and think about what you say before posting, as most of what you’re saying is easily covered, and debunked in my original post. Please, comment with something constructive, not useless.

@OP
No, it's not needed.
Even though you have some good points, I like having 10+ bans and still not getting deleted.
I should not get a worse punishment just because I don't want to be a safechatter.
