| I was shy. I stopped my sophomore year of high school. If you don't like something about yourself, change. It does not need to be complicated; just take the first step. Take initiative. |

can just mean you're shy around girls too, that shy meant you're really shy. |

So you started talking to girls more? I'm a sophomore but I don't think girls like me at my school because I disrupt class. |

I'm better at interacting online but at school and outside life? You're kidding me.

Assumptions are dangerous.
Also, yeah, sort of. I don't pursue girls per se, but I do engage with them on a more regular basis. I have made many friends since I explored the area outside my comfort zone. Join Speech and Debate. That will kick shyness right out of you. That, or it will be torture. It is worth a shot, though. |

Yeah, mostly we will disagree and it will be a big argument and someone will get mad. |

Speech and debate isn't like that. It is not argument, it is civil debate. My class/club for speech and debate is filled with a wide variety of people from every range of political and religious leaning. “I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.”--Thomas Jefferson
There is also the Speech section. You could do impromptu (30 seconds prep on a random topic and then give a 5 minute speech), Oratory or Expository (memorized speeches 8-10 minutes), etc... |
