Municipal Aircraft Bill
Article 1: General Rights to Aircraft Section 1: All citizens of The Republic of Ireland may purchase a rotor-wing or fixed wing aircraft licence. Section 2: Only Eire citizens are entitled to this privilege. Section 3: Certain areas will be restricted to civilian flight eg. government buildings. Section 4: Criminals convicted and awaiting trial will not be allowed inside aircraft unless escorted or given permission. Section 5: Private companies/individuals may put helipads on top of their buildings. Section 6: All pilots are to undergo training from the transportation department. Article 2: Emergency response Section 1: The Defense Force will maintain at least one fixed wing interceptor aircraft to deal with any hijackings. Section 2: There will be an emergency response unit based at an airport. Article 3: Landing and take off Section 1: The transportation department will maintain a main airport for civilian and government aircraft. Section 2: Government buildings may have helipads. Section 3: Military helicopters may land wherever necessary as long as this does not endanger the public.
